Kindofagilr - when all else failed, I found a locked door and pretending I wasn't there worked wonders! That was a last resort really, in the first instance I did request that people ring me in advance to visiting and I just asked for some space. When that didn't work I resorted to the first answer!
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Morning!
I am so tired
Kindof - If you search 'missvondoom' on ebay it should bring me up lol.
Also, me and OH are telling people we want to be alone for the first few days and then we're having a visiting day for parents and siblings to get it over and done with. Then everyone else can see the baby when im ready.
Baby has just woke up i assume as the kicking has commenced again :rotfl: Its constant all day, doesn't she ever get tired!?
Right bit of an ebay dilemma (to me it is lol)
I've set all my listings as Paypal only, as its easier for me and i hate postal cheques, etc.
So i've set it to block bidders without paypal, and now someone has emailed me asking if i would accept a Postal Order.
They wrote thisPlease would you consider excepting a Postal order
payment for the baby K T-shirt as I do not have a
pay pal account I would be thrilled if you would is
I just love the Baby K range. Kind regareds :-)
I want to say "No, because of the current postal strike it would take forever for the postal order to reach me, then it would take a while for the item to come back, i'd rather have it done via paypal as its quick easy and i need money in my paypal account to buy things from ebay myself":rotfl:
Any ideas on how to word that nicer?0 -
Hope you still have the bouncy ball to catch bubs lol
:rotfl:I'm seriously starting to panic. And i feel so upset that i haven't been able to enjoy my pregnancy due to the ex constantly being nasty to me and making things so hard. It's not a great time to be alone so i recommend all of you make the most of your OH's at this amazing time, even if they do annoy you!! It's really really lonely and i'll never ever forgive him for this, i hate his guts.
Also hate his mother tbh - he's living with her and i feel she should be giving him a huge kick up the a*se because i know if MY son had done this to a woman i'd be absolutley fuming and helping her as much as i could! But she seems to be just as pathetic as the moron she bred.
Aww Beenie, sounds like you are better off without him anyway:rolleyes: You are nearly at the end so stay positive and you will be sooo busy with the new baby soon that you won't give him a second thought:)kindofagilr wrote: »I dont know how to keep visitors away for the first few days?
Hmmm, will you have many?
1 - tell them in no uncertain terms, you will not be answering the door for the first couple of days.
2 - tell them to txt/ring in advance and then just say you are too tired can they phone back in a day or two.
3 - Don't answer the door......
4 - let them visit and just get it over and done with
Mel xUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Also, the member that wants the postal order, has no feedback and joined 17th october. I know people have to start somewhere but i also blocked people with no feedback lol.

Hi everyone
Been a while since i last posted on here.
I got an appointment for my u/s on 22nd november (dating/nuchal scan). Was quite shocked as this is going to be on a Sunday at 9am so i have no idea how i'm gonna manage to down one and a half pints of water by 8am (they say you should have got through it an hour before the scan) and not manage to wee myself by the time i get to the hospital.
Also have an appointment to see the consultant on 1st december so am excited about that too. :T Am hoping he will say it's fine for me to attempt a VBAC.
Keep feeling guilty because i always end up rolling onto my tummy whilst i'm sleeping and am sure that i'm squishing my poor little bean. I wish i could find some way to stop myself rolling over when i'm sleeping. OMG i hate nightimes because i can NEVER get comfy.
Also seem to find myself napping more during the day then my DS which often results in him hitting me with his bricks in an attempt to wake me up. I know - bad mummy . Can't wait for the 2nd trimester to roll on so i don't feel so sleepy anymore.
This question is probably gonna have you all :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but can you eat cheescake during pregnacy because i'm unsure whether or not they contain raw eggs- i'm talking about the type you buy frozen then deforst at home BTW.
Anyhoo gonna go watch maury now and work out what to make for lunch. don't really feel like cooking do it will be between nuggets and chips, chicken and rice or cheese sandwiches.Married since 28/04/2007
Mummy to DS born 16/04/2008 and DD born 04/06/2010
:iloveyou: my precious family :smileyhea0 -
