Lucky you! My OH does this as well and it drives me mad, but my dream the other night involved Paul McKenna . I dreamt he handed me a playing card, did some hocus pocus and then asked me to turn it over, and when I did it read "You are in labour now". I woke up with a huge start absolutely convinced that my subconscious had sent me a message, but if it did the only message it sent me was that I am absolutely obsessed by this baby arriving! I'd much rather have Robbie, though he's far too young for me :D

I had a rubbish night last night. I woke up every hour to go to the loo until about 5.00am, and then after that I needed to go about every 10 minutes. How OH slept through it I'll never understand! Now need to go and restock on loo roll :rotfl:

Hopefully by this time tomorrow I'll be wearing bump out not in!

Do think i got the better one in the dream there then nicki, paul vs Robbie, and robbie did not care i was preg. Aless if you know what car you what there are forums for ie " Golfs" and then their members often are selling on their cars and my friends have got some good deals this way. Also Got my fingers crossed for you Nicki that your bump will be with you this time tomorrow :o

Also forgot to say, the other day i did a big sneeze, and wee'd a little

So come on ladies, Squeeze and Lift :p

Thanks for the car info! I've heard of that website, Nicki, and we definitely plan on using it before handing over any money. Too many dodgy 'cut-and-shuts' running around.

    Ooo, good luck csh!

Not sure how you check but a few weeks back I think it was on watchdog, but make sure they have no log book loan out on the car, if your buying from somone rather than a dealership because this poor bloke on the progame brought a car got all the paper work and it turned out that the older owner had taken out a log book loan, and they took the car of him.

  • Really really really sorry ladies for posting and running but I know we have some finance gurus on here and I was wondering if you could help...

I have worked out my entitlement to SMP so know what my gross pay will be but does anyone have any links / spreadsheets they could send to a cumulative net pay calculator as I am a currently paying tax at 40% but I'll be way under the threshold by January and I am trying to work out what my net pay will be for the next few months - after all this is really what matters isn't it?!!!

Boss is back from his hols today :(:( so I think I'll be keeping a low profile in the day time from now but will try and catch up with you all this evening, and every evening.

    Miserable always

We were told at ante-natal that it's a good idea not to bath is water that turns your skin red when you get in. That's also why hot tubs are not recommended in pregnancy. Something to do with dilation of blood vessels....

Having a lazy day today- just ironing the rest of the baby clothes then those are all ready to go.

I managed to rip a chunk out of my hand on the microwave this morning. It is so sore and keeps rubbing on things. Very annoying!

Fitz- thanks for coming on to see us! Can't wait to see some pics of Holly and glad she is doing well now.

  • Oh Nanc, have a dodgy hug :grouphug:. I feel a bit the same today- I just want to feel normal again!

Is there anyway you can do less days a week or finish work a bit earlier? I do, on the whole, feel more human now I have finished work.

I'll try my doppler tonight, tbh i haven't used it as i've been to scared incase i dont find a heartbeat, and then go into a state of mass panic and end up down A&E demanding a scan :rotfl:

Oh cool, i was sat in the bath thinking "is this to hot?" my tummy was sticking out of the water anyway :rotfl:

    20 week scan is 19th October :D

Does anyone know the dates to and from when they work out your SMP?
Cause im taking all my holiday between 20/11 and 20/12 and then am due to go on ML on 20/12.
But i read somewhere that they work out your SMP based on your wages between certain weeks
I may or may not get paid my usual hours in holiday pay, because i haven't averaged out 40 hours a week over the past year :(
