Then he spent all night pushing me out of the bed and snoring, the only saving grace the sleep i did get was spent dreaming i had robbie williams chasing me ;)

Lucky you! My OH does this as well and it drives me mad, but my dream the other night involved Paul McKenna . I dreamt he handed me a playing card, did some hocus pocus and then asked me to turn it over, and when I did it read "You are in labour now". I woke up with a huge start absolutely convinced that my subconscious had sent me a message, but if it did the only message it sent me was that I am absolutely obsessed by this baby arriving! I'd much rather have Robbie, though he's far too young for me :D

I had a rubbish night last night. I woke up every hour to go to the loo until about 5.00am, and then after that I needed to go about every 10 minutes. How OH slept through it I'll never understand! Now need to go and restock on loo roll :rotfl:

Hopefully by this time tomorrow I'll be wearing bump out not in!

    Morning all...

Had some lush shoes from e-bay today but feet to swollen to wear and also a new mamas and papas dinosaur toy i love itt..

I have really bad swollen hands and feet, does anyone fingers hurt when they bend them feel my grip isnt very good? x

Yes. Mine hurt most in the mornings, and I can't grip very well because they are so sore and stiff. I can't lock and unlock doors at all, and even struggle to turn door knobs up until about lunch time! My feet are terribly swollen at the moment too, and I can feel them "squish" if I make any movement which needs them to bend at either ankle or toe (eg going on tip toe). It's a really yuck feeling!

  • I hate having weird dreams that seem to last forever, but when you explain them they always seem fairly normal and last for like 2 seconds lol.

What is consider to hot for a hot bath? I read your not meant to have hot baths during pregnancy.

I was in the bath wondering, as i'd hate to have a practically cold bath :(

OH tried to sleep in a reclining chair but it kept pinging back up lol. In the end he gave up and slept on the floor.

(this was when our old water bed sprung a leak and i had the sofa :D )

Quiet again! Totally un-pregnancy related, but are there any good places to look for used cars besides AutoTrader (and Gumtree)?

We tend to decide what kind of car we want first, then go to the appropriate dealer and buy used from them. It might work out slightly more expensive but you can be reasonably sure that they legally own the car to sell it on, that its roadworthy and not a good cut and shunt, and you usually get some sort of guarantee too.

Experience slightly coloured mind you by almost buying a death trap with our first car. It was a very smart looking apparently well maintained peugeot only a few years old. We took my very mechanically minded FIL along who examined it carefully and thought it was fine, went away to think about it overnight as it was a lot of money to us at the time, and I did a search using one of the car registration companies from work to make sure it was legally owned by the chap selling it. Which showed that the car bearing that registration number had been totalled in a serious accident a year previously. Further investigations showed that the car we almost bought was in fact 2 cars (different serial numbers on chassis at each end!) Never wanted to run that kind of risk again!

Hey ladies, had a wee bit of excitement this morning, thought my waters were going! Still not too sure but have had nothing since. TMI but was on the loo and had finished and went to get up and had more than a trickle but not quite a gush of fluid. Don't think it was wee but thinking if it was waters it would have been more??
Had CMW at 10am and she said stick a pad on and see if I get any more or to go to the hospital and get checked over. Am reluctant to go to hospital until I know for sure as with previous history, don't think they'll let me back out to wait it out at home.
Argg!! Don't know! It could well be wishful thinking! I always thought if your waters went at least you'd have a sure sign something was happening but not when it happens on the toilet lol How frustrating!

If you are coming out the bath red in the face and can hear your blood pumping in your eardrums its prob too hot!
A nice comfortable temperature where you can lie for about 10 mins without getting cold should be ok

EA - I've read that if you need to lower yourself in gradually then it's too hot. You should be able to just hop straight in.

I've got my first midwife appointment this afternoon
