Morning all, still here booooooooooo!!! Got the MW at 10am for hopefully the last time.
***Labour vibes for Harley and Squishy***
Hope everyone is well and has a good day.
Somnium- I had constant headaches right up until 20 weeks but thought it was related to the hyperemesis. They went away and returned at about 34 weeks ish so musn't have been after all. Hopefully your MW will be able to suggest something.0 -
Thanks for the vibes Aless and csh, I need all the help I can get now.
Still have the cold but I do think it is slowly going away. I so miss my contac tablets, it never would have even got started if I could have taken one or two of those.
Still no imminent birth feelings, little (teeny tiniest) bit of a show (think pinhead) but I hope it's a step in the right direction.
Got a few jobs to do today if I can be bothered. I fell for an advert for Doktor Power magic eraser yesterday. It showed it cleaning the inside of an oven door really well so for £4.50 I decided to give it a go. Assuming my legs will bend enough to let me get down on the floor to do it. Dishwasher is going and will be putting some washing on in a bit. Gosh, does this qualify as nesting???
Have a lovely day ladies

Good morning everyone everyone, hope we all have a good day.
Cold morning this morning had to take the heater into DD's room she was cold and was using it as an excuse for extra time in bed lol Must remember to program the timer for the heating tomorrow.
Don't have much planned for today, sis has physio and mum wants me to go. Thought it was for support/company whilst my sister was in at her appointment but nooo it's because she needs to use the multi story car park and she hasn't attempted to park her new car yet, :rotfl:and is frightened of going up the levelsso today i will be a chauffeur.
Vibes to everyone that needs them.
Sounding very positive harley perhaps today is the day and if nothing else at least you will have a clean oven.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Hi EA, i've seen that group on Facebook, i must admit i wish i never looked at the group photos on there because people have postd their little babies who were "born asleep" as they say and i was 23 weeks ish when i was looking and it was sooooooooo strange seeing these babies at same gestation.
I read about the silent scream too, and watched it on Youtube. From what you've said i prob wouldn't watch it, but tbh i read the ultrasound was edited for 'effects' and is not accurate and from watching it i believe it. I am rather cynical though! Basically without going into too much detail, the "Dr" talks about how serene the baby is before they enter with instruments and claim that a 12 week old fetus can feel pain as it appaears to struggle. This is where the clip was apparently sped up to give that effect when it's not true. If you're easily upset then you might find the most upsetting claim was that the fetus was too large for the vacuum so they have to make it smaller.
I do have a morbid curiosity, and have seen all kinds of awful things online - not from specifically looking for stuff to gross me out, just when i've read about something or come across it from an article. After watching the Silent scream i looked for a site which someone had posted in comments detailing the abortion procedures at each stage of pregnancy and it wasn't nice, as you can imagine.
I hope i didn't go into too much detail and upset/offend anyone, i did try not to!
Thank you, im the same as you i do have a morbid curiosity, but some things really bother me. Mainly if its to do with babies and small animals.
Kindof - Im the opposite of you, i have my 20 week scan date, but no appointment with the midwife lol. Think i might dig out my doppler and have a listen myself
I had a dream last night that i was so impatient waiting for my scan i bought a 4d home scanner (it my dream they exist) and i was scanning myself to see the babies sex. But all i could see was the babies head and arm as the rest was hidden by a tv in my womb lol!
Yawn, back to work today after two lovely days offHave to pick up my gaviscon prescription tonight and see if my maternity exemption card arrived at my old flat.
Ooooooh, i haven't been sick in a while! Hopefully this is the start of no MS :T0 -
Morning ladies
Sending big hugs and congrats to fitzo & holly, Big lab vibes to Harley, And welcome Nov. It's strange reading about the amount of ladies that have endo mine took six years to be diagnosed with the hosptial making out that i was just a wimp or putting it on and it took a family planning doctor to work it out in the end !!!! After the day i had yesterday it's a surprise me and oh are still talking as he thought it would be a good idea to come home with a sofa (Save buying a new one ) so it does not go with the front room at all or the other sofa we have !!!! Also two tv's which are now in the front room and theres no space for anything else as it's all been dumped on the floor, Then he spent all night pushing me out of the bed and snoring, the only saving grace the sleep i did get was spent dreaming i had robbie williams chasing meDarling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0 -
:TOoh congrats fitzo on the birth of your little girl :T
You may or may not have seen on grabit everyone is going mad buying stuff from evans. There isn't anything much left in the sale but this morning i just got a not so scary looking over the shoulder boulder holder was £18 reduced to £10 then used the codes in the link so paid £5 delivered for it. I also got a nightie as i am a pj girl really but nighties are more useful when in labour and just after so i got one for £5 then if it gets messy or it is too big i don't mind throwing it away as i haven't spent much on one.
My hubby had to go out and buy me one when i was in hospital and at that moment it was the best present ever and i didn't even ask him to get me one. I had took 2 but one i had on during labour, then the other one got covered in blood after they took the dressing off the bodge job that was my spinal.
Still lots you could get in that isn't in the sale
