  • Thanks Fidget and Boogelly, keep having good moments remembering all the little things she used to do, then having downer moments when it hits me we are never going to see her again or hear her little yap!! Deffo feel better when I think we stopped the suffering she was having as she did look so poorly when we last saw her.

Aww it sounds like u have been very kind to your sister helping her like that Boogelly.

GISI - I know what you mean about creeping up the list, getting so close now isnt it!!

    TMI ALERT!!
Well a quick question if I can, a couple of times today after I have been for a wee, I have wiped and nothing but wee, but looked down the toilet afterwards and there has been a small bit of something dischargey looking floating in the water, so it must of come out as I wee'd. It kinda has a red tint to it. Ive been since and nothing so its not every time. Do you think this could be the show/plug?

    xx

That's good that it is comfy to wear. Does your OH use it too?

Gill, ingredients are over to the right hand side of the page, at the top. I'm currently persuading myself that another piece is a bad idea and that if I'm still hungry in 30 minutes I should have some of the soup I made.

No he doesn't and I don't think he would!

Boo - that's what my plug was like. I thought I needed a wee but it was waters and when I wiped its was mucusy like clear stretchy discharge but I couldn't see in the loo cos I didn't have my glasses on!

Congrats to all the new mums and labour vibes to those that need them :p

Where does the time go?

Boo sounds like it could be your show!

Off to watch a movie with OH, sisters going home tomorrow and Ive got the day off so hopefully I'll be able to keep up on here if only for one day :rotfl: Although, my parents are coming next week from abroad in preparation for belly monkeys arrival so really need to do some tidying!

Glam - love the new avvi of Jack and he looks soo cosy in his joey.

  • Ooh I kinda hope it is but also kinda could do with slightly longer to prepare myself, as still feeling tired from the events this weekend. Although not that I am gonna have any say in the matter once baby does decide to come, lol. Well I just went to the loo and checked again and nothing more so I am gonna keep a pantyliner on and see if there is anymore tonight. I'll keep u informed :)

    Nite nite everyone xx

  • Sorry MIL rant please ignore.
I have been so ill with this flu we tried to put the in-laws off coming over for dinner but as they are going away and we hadn't seen them for a while they insisted. Hubby went and got a m&s meal for 4 and it was fab.

Well not one mention of her calling the baby bill (william) but we were watching the x-factor and she said what about oliver like ollie our ds got really mad as he has chossen the name and said no it's X ( i don't like to write it incase we do change it) so she goes on what about henry? Will this woman never give up? The name is a nice normal maybe even boring name but i know deep down it is because her blooming fav son wanted it for his child.

We told her we are not coming over for christmas dinner but are staying at home. This didn't seem to be much of a problem at least. She just said she understands ( although i am not convienced she is that happy about it) and she is sure bro's family will understand. I don't think they would care a jot we weren't there to be honest. There would be 12 of us for dinner i can't be doing with it if i have just had my section, got a newborn to look after, am ill, bleeding and got to travel over 30 miles. I want to be in my own home.

I think it must be an age thing or just a MIL thing but why do they like to keep bringing up the past? My bro is getting married next year and ds is a page boy. She went off on one about how upset they all were that our nephew didn't come to our wedding and wasn't a page boy. Bil was so upset his son didn't dress like daddy etc and it is there forever in out photos.
We didn't have any children at our wedding as no one had any then. nephew would have been the only one so i think they think we had a no children rule. BIL and his 1st wife split up a few months before our wedding our nephew was 1 she was still invited but wouldn't come therefore nephew didn't come as she lives 250 miles away. Hardly our fault but here she is bring it up again.

She must be going though a mardy phase as we asked her to look after ds overnight so we could have one night out before the baby is born and she said that they don't have the room in the house ( 3 spare rooms?)

elastigirl - you're MIL sounds like a right pain in the you know what!!

And what a ridiculous excuse to not have your son....she could at least have tried to come up with something credible!

Glad you have xmas sorted anyway :)

    morning everyone,

elastigirl I think it is a MIL thing, they are just plain awkward full stop. My OH keeps telling me I'm going to be just as bad when DS is older but I refuse to believe it. I certainly wont be telling him what to name his child unless asked but not if he already has a name in mind.

My mum was not keen on the name we originally picked for ds and was quite honest about it, we changed our mind because it was the same initial as OH i was concerned about post addressed mr r xxxxxxx. When the boy is 15 you dont want him accidently opening our bank statment. Anyway when he was born everyone just kept saying how the original name really suited him grrrr. Too late now.

Labour vibes to those in need, good luck x

I think the clocks thing has really confused the kids - they had been getting up around 5:30 everyday but yesterday and this morning they were up at 6am (really 7 if the clocks hadnt changed) and DD is still asleep now. Good thing there is no school today.

My grandad is home from hospital, he is ok for the minute. My grandparents moved up to Norfolk about 10 years ago for the better air after grandad was unwell but it means there is no family near them. Hopefully the hospital can find out what is causing his problem. I just hope it is not a downward spiral for him but he is home for the minute and thats a good thing.

Once dd gets up we can all get dressed and go pick up my little sister, she is coming round to look after the kids whilst i go for my scan later, she is gonna stay till thursday so i dont need to worry about OH being late this week and she can help out with the kids too.
