Pretty straight forward and unremarkable to any one not in my familylol!
That's actually quite remarkable!! You must be super fertile :rotfl:
Did anyone watch The Great Sperm Race on BBC2 (I think) a little while ago? Basically it's such an acheivement for a sperm to even get to an egg that it's pretty remarkable that any of us got pg at all!!!!0 -

I watched that on channel 4 in March. I loved it! lol
One of the sperm men were very good looking haha. x0 -
Wow, the scones are amazing (if I do say so myself as there is no-one else here to verify)!!! So glad I made them as they are dead easy and must be pretty cheap to make...mmmm might be geeky and price it up in a mo!
Just been chatting to my VBF on the phone and she has admitted she doesn't believe we don't know the sex of the baby! I'm a bit annoyed that she would not take my word for it that we don't know, despite the fact that she has even seen our yellow nursery and all out neutral baby clothes! People are so funny.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Oooh can you send me a recipe on how to make them?
Haha, like you would buy neutral clothes if you knew the sex! lol x0 -
Just had dinner, On the bfp I got mine the tuesday after easter weekend, I was on the pill so it was a rather large shock, I kept saying to oh that i was about to come on and really thought i was then about four days later after a heavy easter weekend of drinking and smoking we were coming back from oh sisters hotel where she worked. I kept falling alseep and felt shattered the whole time and that is not like me i normally have way to much energy. So on the tuesday i met my mum and nan in town and brought a cheap test and done it as it as soon as i got home and did not read how do it right and got a postive result so i done the other one a little later and must admit stood outside the bathroon with the door shut and smoked a fag !!! & phoned oh whilst i was outside i was so conviced i was not pregnant. Oh was on the phone to me when i ventured inside a few mins later and burst into tears and oh was on the end of the phone say what does it say what does it say. Got it out in the end and he was so happy , then phoned my mum and got her round with another test. She said the women in the chemist gave a bit of a strange look buying the test a woman in her 50's. Even though we not expecting it that was one of the happiest days of my life and SJ we had just watched that great sperm race so that made me even more sure i was not pj at all xxxxDarling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0

EA- I used this recipe from the Old Style board, but I added in a handful of raisins.

Evening everyone.
congratulations pookie x
Jenny the pic of erin is gorgeous x
I love the BFP stories, SJ and Nikkit you made me cry lol. My story is very uneventful, We had been trying over 6 months but are very relaxed in our method to conceiving and it seems to work for us. I dont even know when my last period was but felt pregnant so tested through a weeks worth of negative tests before I got a very faint positive, waited till the next day and the BFP was there very clearly. I was talking to OH on the phone later asking what sort of time he would be finished work today and I just couldnt keep it to myself so blurted it out. I had wanted to tell him in person. The thing with OH is he is happy with the 2 we have and is happy to have another but happy as we are so he has just carried on like normal. I still dont think it has sunk in for him. He has said that when I was pregnant with our 3rd the last time that he wasnt ready for a 3rd but he is now.0 -
Hiya everyone,
Not been able to catch up as quick without my phone - its in a tupperware container filled with kitty litter in the airing cupboard, I'm still scared to look at it. I must admit, I'm so stupid I did not realise what OH paid for it and was a bit horrified when I found out.
Had a horrible stressy couple of days. Think DD is starting to worry about the baby coming/me disappearing as her behaviour has been pretty bad. Hope it doesn't get any worse. She's sleeping at her dad's tonight and I miss her so much. I'm adamant that if she is at his house and the baby comes she will be here before we come home from the hospital as I think she may feel like she's been replaced.
Congratulations Pookie - really pleased for you hun x
Hope Nancmat is doing ok and everything has gone well for her, can't wait for her to come back with the news.
Baby Erin is gorgeous Jenny I bet you are thrilled!
I'm feeling a bit tearful on and off, everywhere I go everyone seems to be having babies. It's not getting me down dreadfully it just feels almost like it's not going to happen if that makes sense? I think it's mostly hormones though. Also when the momentum builds up around your due date and then nothing happens it feels like it never will. I had my last pinapple today - it doesn't work and quite frankly it's not pleasant eating that much of it!
I'll catch up a bit better hopefully tomorrow as feeling a bit bleaugh to sit at the computer for much longer. x0 -
NikkiT,
Hiya, haven't caught up yet but wanted to rush on and say sorry, but I was asking my 2 Dr friends about your scar worries on the weekend, (wondering if what I'd said was medically correct) while I was away, and I think I said something misleading, so I've popped back to correct myself!:o
I was talking about how low a chance there is of uterine (ie wall of the uterus) rupture during labour your op, and I quoted how likely they are after a previous C-section. (Less than half of a percent). As I chatted to them though, we realised that you have no chance of that thpough, since the operation you had can't have been on your uterus, because it was on your ovary IIRC? So in fact the chance of you having a uterine rupture is nil.
I'm so sorry I was silly and sugested otherwise.
Love Weezl x
