Wow, girls, having a baby is sooooo time consuming! I thought i was prepared, i really did but its constant washing!

His feeding (bottle) is going great, hes settled into every 4 hrs during the day and goes 5-6hrs at night! He was weighed on tuesday and now a hefty 9lb5oz so hes gaining half a lb a wk which is perfect. Hes a gem of a baby! I actually couldn't wish for anything more hes so utterly perfect that i just can't keep away from him! I can spend hrs just looking at him and listening to his funny little noises, i have been truely blessed!
Think everyone should have one!!!!

i want one !!!!!!

Don't know if i should start wallpapering DS bedroom today. I'm thinking no, cos i feel wiped after the last few days and should try to nap. But obviously it would be productive.

Need a pasting table, but still not seen sis she's avoiding me not sure why

Morning ladies
Why is it when I need a large espreesso i cant have one, Nearly got attack by a large pile of videos last night where we have been having a sort out we have a rather large pile on the side near my side of the bed and at 4am they decided to tumble down !!!!! I was semi awake but oh " Saved me" it did make me laugh and at least now i know he has a good sense and will be awake in seconds if anything happens as he was snoring on minute then the next jumping on top of me sas style to save me from the videos :eek:, Bennie have a nap if not for your sake have one for me please. Hugs and vibes to those in need xxxx

I have had that many people saying i am going to have him early you start to believe it when you keep getting niggles. I have def been having some BH I went to walk to school with ds i got to the corner of my road and i couldn't walk. It was just like a contraction but went away and i had another one around tea time, I had a lovely hot bath and nothing since but my cold has well and truely come out now.
I am not going to beat myself up for not walking that's me done now i will go in the car from now on, untill after i have had bubs anyway.

Well I'm feeling a bit more human today, thank god. Thought I might lose the will to live totally if it hadn't cleared up by today! Think I have a gymnast inside of me too - whinging last week of no movement, well, he's come on these last few days and I can quite clearly feel him practising a bit of kung fu in there :rotfl: & to boot, it appears he likes beef :eek: had the most intense urge for a McD's burger last night, after spending 10 years vegetarian and only starting to eat chicken & fish a few years ago, and only recently starting to eat mince in lasagne, it came as a bit of a shock! Not sure how I fancied one as I had no memory of how one tasted...but I'm ashamed to say it was lovely My boy is gonna be just like his uncle I think (my brother), he's a no vegetable eating martial arts loving man, my brother was very pleased with this idea!!

A Q for all you who've researched & those who already have little ones...how many vests/sleepsuits did you buy in newborn/0-3? After yesterdays buying on a whim, I'm now thinking I must be a bit stupid, as I've no idea how many of each thing I need Might have to go do some size swapping!

lou - why can't you have coffee? We can have a little caffeine as long as we don't go overboard!

I read in the hospital yesterday that coffee's only limited to 4 cups a day and tea to 6 cups - I was shocked, always presumed it must be much less. So Lou you can have one without feeling bad

Glad you are feeling better. And yey on loads of movement! I was shocked at quickly it went from nothing to lots of movement! DH keeps saying ours will be a footballer cos he does so much kicking! (Wishful thinking on his part though I think :rolleyes:)

I can't remember when the water birth evening is but I'll get DH to check on the leaflet when he gets up as I'm at work.

Stay put vibes for you elasti - I presume you don't want to go anything like this early?!
