    Happy Wednesday all!

before I forget - happy due date Jenny! Although couldn't see any posts from you yesterday so maybe noggle made a (slightly!) early appearance!

am so pleased I have got lunch and ski and snowboard show to keep me busy today - downstairs flat are having their windows replaced and it is soooooooooo noisy!

shopping mission today - snowsuit for my little man and not a velour type thing I keep seeing everywhere but a proper Alpine strength one for likely skiing in March - any pointers to stockists would be helpful as everything I've seen is 12 months+

pulled the heavily pregnant extra medical monitoring card with both estate agents today to try and speed up our sale / purchase to get them to agree to completion date - more so with our flat sale agent as their recommended conveyancer have been utterly utterly pants (that's such an understatement but thought I'd save your eyes!) - am pushing for exchange next week, something else to worry about as well as Monday's growth scan and Wednesday's BP clinic. Shame the conveyancers are in Brum as otherwise I'd go in and waddle at them for a bit more emotional blackmail!

Thanks SJ - thought I'd written it down but must not have, or at least can't find the info anywhere! Figured it must be on a leaflet or something but have hunted through notes then remembered it was written at the bottom of the antenatal form which I sent in!

Lou don't worry about the crying, think it's standard pregnant lady behaviour :)

Thanks for all the congrats, can't believe how happy I am now to be having a little boy, convinced myself I wanted a girl (though of course would've been happy either way) but am absolutely over the moon with the little boy, and all the things he can do with OH & his uncles :)

SIL has just rung to ask me if I want this & a playnest, he LO is just finished with both of so she's gonna them & bring them over for us, woo hoo :)

Forgot to add...had a junior Dr in at my appointment yesterday and his name was Etienne, I absolutely love it but OH says it's silly as there's definitely no French in our family...boo!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

    Happy 39 weeks Helen! :j

    Happy 38 weeks to me!!!

Can't wait to hear about today's scans. Is that them all done for a while now or has anyone else got one this week?

OH and I are off swimming in a bit. I've got him at home for today and tomorrow then he's back at work so I'm trying to make the most of him :rotfl:.

  • Morning all. had a crappy night sleep. Seem to go to sleep pretty quickly when I first go to bed then wake up at 2 am ish and struggle to get back to sleep. Was tossing and turning a lot so moved myself to the spare room to not disturb DH too much then i had a hot chocolate and a read for a bit. I didn't even have a nap yesterday:rolleyes:

Right today want to get a bit of cleaning done this morning, plus am thinking about finances. What benefits we will become entitled to when Jr arrives (which will be the first time ever that I have claimed anything!)
I know everyone gets Child Benefit. But just need to figure out whether or not we are entitled to child tax credits cause I think we are close to the threshold and I have to say the information given to us and the HMRC website really confuses me

Q how many support bras do you have and how long do you wear them for? I only bought two in my new size as I dont wanna waste money, but means am washing all the time!

i got two non-wired one white, one black, then also one underwired when I needed to have a more discreet bra and a bit more lift. Have manages on these ok as tend to do one white and one coloured wash a week so would only be wearing them 3/4 times in a week.

Aaarrgghh! I'm too fat to be pregnant! Got the scan tomorrow and I'm sure they won't be able to see anything. Ick. And I feel slightly sick all the time. And I keep gagging all the time. And I'm tired and upset all the time. Stopped taking the lovely anti-ds for the baby and I misssssss them! Pregnancies are too looooong. It's all just going to get so much worse and I keep wondering why am I doing this again. Then I think be silent wench, as long as the babe is healthy. Personally I'm glowing apparently. With supressed rage methinks. Aarggh. Me not like hormones...

There, I feel much better :T
Glad you feel better. Good luck for scan.

I like "treating" myself to a caffeinated coffee, I have instant decaf and some ground which is actually quite tasty. But love going out and getting a latte :D I try to just limit myself to one in a dday though so make it a large one;).

  • GISI - have fun with OH

It is horrible weather here - pouring with rain. Hopefully it will stop before I go to aquanatal at 12. What a stupid time for aquanatal - 12.30 to 1. It means I can't eat anthing between 11.30 and 1.30 which is a catastrophe for moi who likes to eat regularly :D

right off now for first breakfast as got up about 10ish then came online. Hope you all have a good day and good luck with scans. I'll be back on this afteroon probably. xx
