GISI enjoy having OH at home :) I love it when OH has time off in the week!

Karen have you tried the entitledto.co.uk site? I've found it really good when trying to work out benefit things.

On the bra front - is there a certain point that you should stop wearing underwired bras? I'm still wearing my usual ones, well, those that fit, and am hoping to til they don't fit anymore?

karen - on the benefits, is it not worth it making an application and then letting DWP figure it out? That's what I plan on doing as I'm a bit clueless how it will work for us since DH's income is commission-based & therefore hugely variable.

Yay for GISI! Happy DD Jenny! Good luck at scan, kindof! SO many good wishes going around today :D

lou - don't feel guilty for treating yourself; you deserve that espresso, hehe!

always - good luck speeding up your sale. I assume it's too late to change conveyancers, so I believe the best you can do is just be really persistant with chasing solicitors, estate agents, etc. If you get stuck, jot me a PM as DH (estate agent) loves giving advice :). Even better, fake going into labor over the phone!! LOL...

I think Ill be about 8wks then and just wondered what will happen at meeting.....I dont suppose we will be able to hear HB then - it would be nice to hear it. Im also overdue a smear and wondered when I would get this done??

I've no idea EA :) Would've thought you'd qualify for some kind of housing help as well as tax credits if OH is on same wage though? Not sure why I think this...!! You should try popping into CAB and asking them to go through it with you.

Yorky - didn't hear heartbeat til my 16 week app, though she tried at 12 weeks and couldn't find it, Q a total panic on my part. The midwife will just go through a load of Qs on family history etc and start filling out your notes, and you'll get to ask any Qs you have :)

Popping out now ladies will be back later, dying to hear from Kindof :D xx

I didn't hear the heartbeat until 17 weeks at the docs. They say 16/17 is the earliest you can hear. They dont usually try any earlier.
No harm is asking though :D
At my booking in, she gave me my notes with loads of leaflets, and then asked so many questions and she also asked if i had thought about the birth, i was like "no!" lol. I was only 8 weeks at the time :D
She booked my 12 week scan and asked my permission to have a 20 week scan.
Then she tried to take some bloods, but couldn't find a vein (the bruises :( )
Also if you think of any questions, write them down! You might forget lol.

I don't know how you ladies who worked up 'til the end did it! I'm only 30wks+ and sitting at work is sooooo uncomfy. Desk job = lots of sitting = very comfortable with someone's little feet/knees constantly in my rib cage. The scary thing is I know it will only get worse, agh!!
