  • Hey all,

I can't seem to settle tonight I'm getting far to excited about tomorrow lol. Can't wait!!!
    I've been sorting out some baby clothes to keep me occupied and so far I have;
18 baby grows 2 per day for us and then 2 each for mum supply packs.
12 outfits 7 for us with odd extra shirts matching outfits 2 each for mums

Right back atcha jha, how's the family keeping you busy too!

All this talk of painkillers has me dreading the birth. I don't react very well to medication even co-codamol makes me ill. so i'm at a loss as to what i can have. Really hope i can get to a MW that will talk for 2 minutes without it always being, well see at next appointment or see someone else.

Glad you are ok and i have been keeping up with news of your sister <<hugs>> I am the same with meds - how are you with anasthetics? am i right in thinking you have had 1 cs and one vbac?

This is my baby no wonder i am hurting:eek::eek: (but its turned a bit more back to back)
oblique.jpgYour baby is oblique if her body is situated at an angle. Her head will be more against one side of your pelvis and her shoulder will be towards the birth canal. Babies in an oblique lie will turn to one of the other positions for delivery.

Anesthetics for some reason need to be strong to knock me out, had teeth out when i was a teen and it took 4 attempts. 3 attempts for the epidural for C-section then a reaction after to the morphine, best they offered after c-section was co-codamol so i never had anything after it. Preferred the pain to the side effects.

VBAC was gas & air because the MW said i had hours then out popped DS before i could get anything lol

Do you get pains shooting down one side of your foof and leg? i get that!

Thanks three thats really helpful:D I am going for tens machine and wait to see whtat the anasthethics team say at 34 weeks about the rest of it. I had midwife today too:D She was better this week though - think she was a bit shocked to hear that i had been so ill:o

I have anti d, gtt and 28 week bloods on thursday

I had that shooting pain about a month ago, they did a urine test and speculum swab thingy but it was just the baby. Since i have got over that flu it feels like there is a really painfull ball there and it is going to burst any minute which has now progressed to pain at the very front of my "undercarriage" which they think is the babys head pushing on the left hth

Kindof, I was around at 1.24 because I got the scan time wrong, it was actually at 2 :rotfl: Thank god OH checked or I'd have been sat there like a lemon at 1!!

Kindof, hope things are ok with your mum? Try not to worry too much, think people just tend to say things without thinking sometimes & I'm sure she didn't mean any harm :) Maybe drop into conversation that you're struggling financially, see if she might offer?

Ah I see lol that would have been so funny (but not for you when you are bursting for a wee lol)

Yeah things are fine, I didnt say anything to her lol

Thanks EA :) I so hope baby bean has his/her legs open lol

We are only a few days apart. I am getting movements every day, and in bursts, I read somewhere about baby now following a simialr waking pattern to when they are born, ie sleeping for about 16 or 18 hours a day, so only short periods of time when they are awake. I find mine most active in the evenings, but that's possibly becasue I'm less active so am more inclined to feel it!

Really? thats weird cos I find babybean is active from 8am till 11am???? that I can tell lol I dont know lol

LOL thats mad 3tb, I am going to have to broach the subject of petrol, OH talked to me tonight, and he really doesnt want to take mam to work when I am on mat leave, cos if he did it means its takes him 45 mins from leaving the house to getting to his work, whereas if he went straight to work its 10 mins? and he wants to spend as much time in the morning and evening with me and bean, so I need to talk to mam somehow about that? I am not going to talk to her about it yet, I have plenty of time

LOL Fishckae me too, I am tempted to go to bed now so its morning already lol
