    Hiya,

thanks for the cake SJ! X

JHA - my baby was lying traverse (?) til about 30 wks. I have anterior placenta and think it's on the right side as have very little movement there the whole pregnancy.

LCK - I'm worried too! I'm absolutely bricking it about labour anyway as been having flashbacks to really looong one I had last time and things not progressing. I was trying to be really positive about this one but finding that he's facing outward has really set me back. There's not much chance of me turning him now tho. Redstararnie, I suppose it's too late for them to turn him now? That's what I worry about, it taking hours and hours then having to have a ecs.

Helen- I knew he was the wrong way as he'd been that way before and then turned back then a couple of weeks ago I noticed what looked like the movement of limbs at the front again. Hths x

I swear I'm going to be crawling around tonight! Good job OH is here to get me back up!

At my 36week appointment MW asked me to do a birth plan for when she came to see me at home the next time..I started one but didn't finish it but it didn't matter, she never asked to see it or anything! She asked me how I plan on coping through labour and I just said tens machine and gymball and co codamol in early stages then birth pool after 5cm dilated, gas and air and if I really really can;t cope I have some meptid on standby ;)

More randomness..I appear to be leaking again..think it's just watery discharge though ewwwwwwwwwwwwww. Horrible feeling it trickling!!!!
love my little man he is amazing :j

I think, though can't be entirely sure - as I wimped out and said I wanted an elective c-section - that there are things they can do right up to the time you're in labour as long as they are aware. With me, apparently (and worringly) they didn't seem to realise what was causing the problems until they did the c-section. I did get shunted from one mid-wife to the next during labour and it felt a bit like the blind leading the blind - at one point one of the mid wifes asked my mum if she was a nurse!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • Yours is very similar to mine, Helen, except I'm not going to be at home! I'm planning Tens and active labour for the start, then pool and gas and air when things progress. I don't want to go for pethidine though as I don't want baby to be sleepy. I am not adverse to an epidural though if things go really slowly or the pool doesn't work out for me.

Yep, homebirth hopefully! Yeah I didn't want pethedine either, asked for meptid as it doesn't have as many effects on baby.

OK i read all the posts multi quoted and got comfy to reply and they've all gone walkies in web world:confused:

Congratulations to the blue team i remember was it for gymfield?

The rest is gone, lol useless pg brain.

Well i had my 25 week appointment today what a farce it was, she made me feel like i was taking up her time when she should be seeing other PG mothers. Apparently i should not have been referred to the CMW team in my area. They only deal with low risk pregnancies and because i had previous C-section i'm high risk.

She couldn't answer any of my questions so i have to call the hospital next week if i don't hear from them. I tried to ask about antenatal classes and she said see the hospital when you are their as most of the classes are held their and they can let you know availability but you need to book before 28 week s:confused: I'll be at least 28 weeks when i go to the hospital! (30 for current appointment)

Sis is still the same, but we are just thank full that she is not getting any worse. But i swear she was cursing the nurse when she took blood i could see it in her eye's lol

Edit: beenie well done on the decorating, will send motivation vibes to you for the rest of it lol

Have you had meptid before? I remember sami (whos on parent thread now) having anti sickness meds with it for her hb.

I was just wondering if it was another option for me?
