jopsey - I am pleased that my post managed to catch you, didn't know your appointment time and also pleased its given you a tiny little bit of support.

ML and catch up tv on the magic box is great - just been watching an ITV2 programme Britains Biggest Babies that was on recently. OMG what an eye opener. Have completely failed to do any ironing or house move packing tho - bad catch up tv magic box!

Have managed to do 2 loads of baby clothes washing tho - what a strange sight seeing such tiny clothes on the airer!

Anyways, off to midwife appointment now - little one being quite active but my bp is creeping up on home monitoring which worries me a little bit. FIL has chemo blood tests appointment at the same time so am meeting IL's afterwards in the cafe - coffee (back on the decaf again today!) and treats for me later and I get a lift home :)

Redstarnie - My baby couldn't count either, I remember thinking just need to get to 12 weeks and it will ease off! It didn't. Even on my wedding day when I was just over 14 weeks I was sick. Funny thing (not at the time) was eating tea, jumping up half way through to be sick then going back and finishing the rest of it (oops sorry to those eating their lunch) I made it to 17 weeks (I think it was 17 seems a while back now...

    Thanks LCK73 really appreciate that.

At the moment I think I am using any excuse for a duvet day as I know they won't happen after Jr arrives :D
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early) :D

Ah Kindof - what are parents like eh? I shouldn't feel too bad asking for a contribution towards petrol especially given your current circumstances. You coul just say what with baby on the way you are trying to tighten your budget but it would help if she could contribute a bit towards the petrol which you wouldn't be using otherwise. Fingers crossed she can move closer to you soon - sounds like that will sort out a lot of the problem. Its never easy though is it.
    xx

    Yeah I know, parents lol

I was thking about asking her for petrol, we used to get a lift of someone and we paid £1 per journey, I think she would be ok with this? and it would get OH off my back

But I dont what the implications would be come mat leave time

    Thanks SJ

EEK Gymfiend will have had her scan

SJ - your cupcakes are lush! I am so jealous, I love to make them and they always go down well but haven't the confidence to try and sell them! I saw this yesterday and thought of you

I want one but can't justify the cost atm. Good luck with your business, I'm sure it'll be a massive success.

For the ladies with ms, I was never actually sick, just nauseous when I was tired/hungry from about 9-14weeks so just ate my way through it - biscuits were best :rotfl:

Kindof - I'd definately have a conversation about it. Maybe set a time limit if she hasn't moved cos financially/logistically it's going to be a pain when you're heavily pregnant/have a new baby. Maybe her little trip on the bus tomorrow will make her realise how lucky she is that you take her ;)

:confused:Had my first midwife visit and it was so lovely to see her again (she was my midwife during my pregnancy with DS). We filled in some forms, had a chat and she (MF) was admiring my beautiful DS. :p

MF also said she saw no reason why i shouldn't be able to try for a VBAC :j:j so i'm happy about that.

Have to trek up my very steep stairs to get some clean clothes as my DS decided to smear yoghurt all over himself :wall: - luckily i managed to get his face clean with a wet wipe but his clothes will have to go straight into the washing machine . I think i'll put him in a sleepsuit as i have no plans to go out today.

Can i have some opinions on baby names (i know it's early for me to be thinking of baby names). I'm certain that if i have a boy i will name him Gabriel, but for a girl i cannot decide between Monica or Monique  so i'd really love to know which name people prefer.
    Married since 28/04/2007

Mummy to DS born 16/04/2008 and DD born 04/06/2010

Thanks very much. I already have that tin!!! :D

Mrs I glad your appointment went well. I like Monica over Monique but it probably depends how it goes with your surname too.
