gymfiend- bit late but you defo were not being unreasonable re OH wanting to go skiing. One thing on the tour they told us about towels - do bring your own as hospital ones are crap but make sure they are a dark colour so don't get mixed in with hospital washing. Also, at our hospital pillows "are like gold dust" (lol, direct quote!) so bring 1 or 2 also with dark pillowcases so don't get mixed in.
Your list sounds fab! Though I wouldn't skip the handheld fan b/c our hospital is boiling and I think the heat + labour would make me feel ill. I'm trying to think of what kind of bag to take...sounds like you've got a wheely carry-on style piece of luggage, right (hard sides)? That's what I was thinking as any of our other bags are either too small or too big. At a loss at how many maternity briefs/pads to acquire, honestly...
I am just packinga couple of packs of everything with the thought that OH can always nip home ifmore are required. You could always do what someone else said about leaving a carrier bag in the car with extras (which I might do instead now).
I am now 12th on the list but I think 6th if you go by the due dates. I shall happily take labour vibes now. Am feeling ready now. me and OH had a big spring clean in the kitchen on Saturday. well he did the majority of it. I said to him that I was the one who was meant to be nesting and he said he was too, which i suppose he must be too. I doubt I would have got very far on my own steam so my OH is lovely. :kisses3:
Now if you could send me some motivational vibes too so i can do a few other bits and bobs I would really appreciate it After lunch I shall try the 15 min rule.
