nikkit - there's no 'rule' but once it starts getting unwieldy, I tend to chop off those over 1 month old (also the 'too tired to log in' list is really old too).
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

kindof you might even find you are first on the list at 9:20. Mine was 9:20 on friday and I was first in, which was good no hanging about. Maybe they start at 9 but have to set up first or something. But that was the EPU. I'm worried about what times they are going to have for the 12 week scan - there is no way they are going to fit in with all the school runs.

Just been shopping and was shaking so badly walking round the store, I think it might be the low blood pressure again. At work if I have to bend down for things off the bottom shelves I get really dizzy when I straighten up as well. Its really strange never had this before.

Be careful with the dizziness, I had it with DD and got to the stage where I was fainting. It turned out to be anaemia, as the baby takes what iron they need first. Speak to dr/midwife and get a blood test done, if it is that they'll prescribe iron tablets. Makes a world of difference! Low blood pressure does it too which they can't do anything about, but extra salt can increase it (if your salt intake isn't already too high)

    Morning all,

Massive congratulations to Cheapskate & welcome to baby Grace :D Can't wait for pics.

Elasti that's a real bargain, and really lovely unit. I love eBay :)

Weezl the average length/weight chart is brilliant, though think I'd be afraid to know as I have no expectation of a small baby! Always my SIL had a 6lb 2 little girl at full term this year, nothing whatsoever wrong, just a small baby.

Can't remember who was asking about stuffy noses - but I've had one since being preg, particularly bad at night, and every morning starts with a sneezing fit! Someone told me it's to do with an allergy to a change in hormones...could be a load of rubbish though

Well I still feel absolutely awful, OH has the car so I can't even get to the doctors...well, I could, but I've no urge to get up and walk half an hour, or to ring anyone for a lift - feeling very antisocial and ill! Hoping I'll be better tomorrow for the scan, can't remember who asked, maybe Kindof? It's at 1pm - that and an appointment with consultant so not sure what'll be first, scan or appointment, sometime around then anyway :D On the talk of waiting - I once had an 10am appointment - still sat waiting at gone 1.30  Loads of people were having a go at the receptionist, poor woman, so stupid it's not like she can do anything as one of the Drs was off ill. Hoping it won't be like that tomorrow, don't think I could sit for near 4 hours with a full bladder!!

Must admit I've been lurking for a while waiting for news from EA, can't wait to know :D
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
  • Ooh, aren't there a lot of pink arrows on the given birth list? Wonder if us next lot are going to even it up with lots of blues!

Pookie - if it makes you feel any better the middle row of the back seat is the safest spot in the car (passenger seat in front is the least if any one is intrested).

Always - I'm getting the cheeky wipes too but as we do them at work will be getting them from there and using my discount, so if you still have the voucher you could do that too. Works out at £27.96, poss more if you use quidco or something. Oh and have the ikea flannels too there huge! will use em as top ups or save for hands and face.

Aless - Our best bargain was probably the 5 piece bedding set(bumper, blanket, fitted sheet, quilt and matching mobile) reduced from £79.99 to £59.99 for the show, but as it was the last day they were only wanting £44.99. Also got them to chuck in a free musical cot toy worth a fiver and the the guy said make it £50 and I could have the double sided minky blanket they had been selling for £19.99. That was me who asked about making wipes, but as the cheeky wipes only work out a few quid more after my dscount I'm not gonna hunt about for all the individual bits, tho I may use flanels for top up still as I have 20 of them.

Elasti - well done on the changer its really nice.

Good to know am not the only congested PG woman on here. Well off to Sainsburys later to stock up on nappies :) Other than that not much going on.
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls

I'm booking in with the midwife on friday so will def mention it then. I did think about going to the docs after shopping because it is right next to the store but got distracted by a need for petrol. I def have low blood pressure had measured it a few times at work but could be anaemic as well i suppose. It didnt feel right but at least i have appointment on friday so can talk about it then.
I dont normally eat much salt, only what is already in the food - in all my previous pregnancies I've craved maccy d chips just for all the salt but this time I'm not so I've not had any. Although I really fancy some bacon and that is quite salty so might have a bacon sarnie for lunch. Been drinking loads of water and warm drinks for my sore throat so I know i'm not dehydrated.

    wow elastigirl thats a bargin.
