Cheapskate wrote: »Evening all
Missed whatever you've all been talking about....Grace Agnes arrived early yesterday morning,:j but I didn't get home until late evening, she didn't sleep at all last night, visitors all afternoon, feeling very fragile & rushed off my feet!!! More details some time tomorrow (hopefully), but she's gorgeous & is currently wide awake as I type one-handed!
Briefly, toddler woke me in the night, 3 a.m. Sat, couldn't get back to sleep & realised things were starting. Got to hospital about 0645, Grace was born an hour later!! Think she's getting hungry again, so off now - don't know where list is to update, grateful if some nice soul could add me - talk more tomorrow!
Hugs & kisses, labour vibes if you're waiting!
A xo

Congratualtions!!! And welcome to Grace, lovely name!! (on my girls list!)Had my first girls night out in town last night, felt a bit out of place as not drinking or smoking and felt a bit consious ofbwing out with a bump, but was a good night. Although a random girl rubbed my bump while I was stood near her, then carried on a conversation with her friend.
I guess I am now a bump with legs rather then a person! LOL, not sure entirley comfortable with randoms touching me, but was a bit too shocked to say anything, just moved along to another area!
I'd hate that!! I honestly don't see why people think they can just touch you like that, especially a complete stranger
Anyone else suffered/suffering with a bloked up nose through the night, dont think I have a cold but been getting really bunged up making it hard to breath then wake with a sore throat!
I've been really sniffly and bunged up throughout the pregnancy!
Glad you had fun at the baby show and managed not to spend too much!
PrincessP really glad things have worked out ok for your move, hope it goes ok now for you.
Hmmm, who was saying about porrigde? Can't remember! Anyway, I had porrodge with raspberry jam and dried raspberries today - yum yum!!
Good look to portsmouthali and EA with scans today!!
Hope everyone who was feeling ill is feeling better, big labour vibes for anyone who wants them - nancmat, jenny, karen, anyone else i've forgotten! (If I have, sorry, damn pg brain!!) and a big hello to everyone else!!0 -
Does anyone have any ideas on where to get some cheap elastic waisted work trousers? I'm only 6 weeks but already can't do up my buttons! it's really embarrassing and I don't want to tell anyone at work just yet... I'm normally an 8 but I'm guessing a 10 would fit... weird thing is I've lost a stone while gaining a bra and waist size ??
Peacocks, primark. newlook. You shouldn't have a problem with being so slim i struggle as i am normally an 18.
I am trying to find some cheap nursing tops at the mo but haven't found any i like. This is my signature!0 -

kindof you might even find you are first on the list at 9:20. Mine was 9:20 on friday and I was first in, which was good no hanging about. Maybe they start at 9 but have to set up first or something. But that was the EPU. I'm worried about what times they are going to have for the 12 week scan - there is no way they are going to fit in with all the school runs.
Just been shopping and was shaking so badly walking round the store, I think it might be the low blood pressure again. At work if I have to bend down for things off the bottom shelves I get really dizzy when I straighten up as well. Its really strange never had this before.0 -
TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:
Will let u know when November one is though usually every 4-5 weeks so looking at 16th or 23rd.

when my trousers started to get a bit tight i used a hairband hooped it round the button through the hole and hooped back on the button , it saves a bit of money for a cpl weeks until they get silly tight IYSWIM.
Also how long do you stay on birth list , i can tidy it up a bitDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
CHEAPSKATE - congratulations! missed this in my quick weekend catch up, naughty me!
sending you a big bag of frozen peas, elasti!
aless - thats a good link, thanks! Just discovered ikea do these http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40054538 - perhaps I will update krystals post for you all!
weezl - just been googling between posts and came up with the same link, great minds, eh? I think I've got my head round a small baby always, just need to keep him safe in there for as long as poss. MIL's neighbour popped round with pics of 2 of her grandchildren who were both born early / small to reassure me over the weekend - the elder one has just passed her driving test!!! And talking to mum, I was born 2 weeks late and was 6lbs 10 and OH was also late and just 7lbs so it's not surprising this one is going to be small really. The upside all these 0-3 month clothes I have will last longer I guess!!
How do I post pics????? It seems to be disabled on my log in???? Or is this a firefox thing?0 -
I got a great bargain from ebay at the weekend i am so happy. I had been watching, bidding and lossing several mamas and papas changing unit/ drawers. I didn't want to pay much more than £100 for one prob unrealistic as this is the one i was bidding for. I was winning at £80 then 1 min to go i got outbid so i bid again £100 was winning then 1 sec to go i was thinking yep got it then the screen changed and said the item had sold and i hadn't won it went for £105 they must have used snipe i was gutted.
But the same company is selling lots off all brand new ones all with different ending times. Another one was ending in 3 hours but i had to go out i bid up to £80 again thinking i had no chance of winning and got home to find i had won :j:j and even better i got it for £45 :j:j very mse.
People on ebay want that for second hand ones that don't even have drawers just shelves. So i will have some where to put all the babies lovely clothes and i can get on and wash my sons old ones that i kept. This is my signature!0 -

Morning all !
Am in a good mood today as i had the most wonderful dream last night that i was at home after giving birth to a baby girl and OMG she was the most beautiful little girl in the world :A
Also found that my nausea has escelated to full blown morning sickness and whilst bringing up bile wasn't very pleasent (sp?) i'm glad to actually have full blown sickness as it is way better than feeling nauseous all day.
Have my midwife visiting me tomorrow. Wonder if she will remember me as she did keep seeing me for about 6 weeks after my DS was born and for the last 4 months of my very compicated pregnancy with him.
Keep on meaning to tidy up the house but i just cannot motivate myself so i have decided i will tidy up after i've watched Maury (i'm sooo lazy right now ).
Anyhoo, hope all you ladies have a good day and congratulatons to cheapskate :TMarried since 28/04/2007
Mummy to DS born 16/04/2008 and DD born 04/06/2010
:iloveyou: my precious family :smileyhea0
