Just popping back to wish everyone with scans tomorrow all the best. My sister has hers on wednesday and Ive told her to drink a cold lucozade 20-30 mins before so beans really wriggly, its what I was told to do to get a look at the team pink or blue bits :rotfl:

Ive just had a huge bowl of turkey broth I made in the slow cooker, it was yummy and now Im stuffed but still managing to fit jaffa cakes in :o

Gymfiend Ive got those gardenbug rattlers, only because I bought a huge bag of stuff off the carboot for £10 and there must have been nearly £150 worth of stuff at new prices in there :money:

PP - glad you've managed to get a bit more sorted.

Cheapskate huge congratulations! What a beautiful name too, we need piccies to drool over when you get chance :D

Gemma, I work in an all male environment (builders/joiners etc) and a few of them think its ok to rub my bump  Ive taken to rubbing their bellies back now, they look a bit taken aback and dont do it again in a hurry.

And I agree X factor was a joke! And is at a prerequisite that the star act has to appear slightly out of it this year? Last week Robbie was spaced out and this week Whitney.

32b - Good news that your sis continues to improve, still have my fingers crossed for you all xx

Nikkit - so glad I never wasted anytime going to kiddicare then as have already made up mind about PC and have a cot too. Thanks for the review though.

SJ - I love the ikea meatballs too hehe :D Fingers crossed you get your orders xx

Gymfiend - hope the B & Js works wonders on your throat. I agree with the others BTW not unreasonable expectations of OH at all.

Jenny - Lots of lovely labour vibes hun xxx

Beenie - tyake it easy decorating, if its an enclosed space be v careful of fumes!

Karen - 38 weeks yeay! oh and getter better vibes for ya xx

PP - your move sounds like a nightmare, but am mighty impressed with you for getting it sorted, well done. Oh and fab news your friend managed to come thru with the nappies :D

Gill - up to 20lbs and bubs being able to sit unaided for 20/30 min unaided they can only go into rearward facing seats by law. Have never heard of travel systems (at least in the uk) coming with anything other than rearward facing seats as foreard facing ones are alot bigger.

Always - great choice with the bum genius, I know prima baby mag gave them a big thumbs up and sounds like your getting a bargain too.

MERFE - still not feeling too good huh! hope it passes soon xx

pourtsmouthali - best wishes for your scan tomorrow hun.

Cheapskate - mega, huge congrats on the arrival of Grace, such a quick birth and your back on here already, well done xx

EA - will be waiting to hear your scan news so make sure you pop by and let us know how you get on.

Anyone else suffered/suffering with a bloked up nose through the night, dont think I have a cold but been getting really bunged up making it hard to breath then wake with a sore throat!

Well had a fab day at The Baby Show, spent less money than I thought we would but mainly cos we got lots of bargains and a mountain of freebies. Wont have to buy anything for washing bubs clothes etc now thanks to inlaws freebie grabbing hehe. Biggest buy was MIL who insisted on splashing on a sleep curve matress for baby. Got lots of other stuff but wont list it all, Sunday was deffinatley a good day for bargains as alot of the show prices were reduced further to clear stock. Finnished up with a meal at Harvester too :D

congratulations cheapskate, love the name xx

morning everyone, woke at 3am!!!!!! and can not get back to sleep! I'm gonna have a bath in a minute then do some ironing and i'll probably be ready to fall back to sleep just as the kids wake up. Hope you are all getting a better nights sleep than me.
  • Congratulations Cheapskate!:j

Good luck to those having scans today - I'm getting really impatient for my 12 week one but still got a couple of weeks to go!

Well, my bowel issues from the other day seem to have resolved so thats good! Still struggling with the morning sickness though. Part of the problem is that I'm rarely actually being sick - I just feel queasy the whole day and wish it would just evacuate!

    Morning ladies,

Ive got today off so going to give the bathroom another coat of paint and repack my hospital bag. I slept really weird last night, couldnt nod off and kept having strange dreams when I did manage to sleep and keep having period type pains really low under my bump. Hoping and praying belly monkey isnt intending on putting in an early appearance!

Kindof I only like the original one, its all I could keep down in the first 12 weeks. Im sure belly monkeys going to be addicted to the stuff! Not long now until your scan :j My 20 week scan was meant to be at 2.40, I finally got seen at 3.55 and was so desperate for the loo I thought Id burst when they started pressing on my bump :o

Hmm, now should I have porridge and raspberries or cereal? Decisions decisions.
    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j
