Well it looks like i'm going to be having a few battles:mad: Just got a letter from a debt company for a bill that was paid in April that i was assured had been sorted. OH has just informed me that a letter was also sent to our old address too. To top it all the previous tenant has been sent three notices of personal visits from 3 debt company's. Guess i better copy our tenancy and stick it to the back of the door to save hassle.

I have got to go to help mum today as she is struggling with the cold but wants things done in the house, My gran has got bad too. She needed to be shown how to open the buttons for her blouse this morning because she said she had never seen them before. Sis is still holding on in their but they had to sedate her again as she was panicking but i guess that could be expected with the pain.

On a funny note i think my dad has developed hearing difficulties, mum has 2 aids already and the conversations between them this morning nearly made me wet myself. I know i shouldn't find it funny but dad always took the mince with mum saying she could only hear the change in his pocket and not a conversation, perhaps it's sweet justice in the end lol

Vibes to all that want them.

ooh whilst you're around Weezl, wondered if you'd any thoughts on the idea of potty training from birth? Saw it mentioned on a thread somewhere and can't remember who mentioned...thought you may be able to shed some light as you seem to know lots about most things :)

    :o

I've got a book about 'elimination communication' the fairies can bring it to you if you'd like :)

I like the idea, but I don't think I've ever been tuned in enough to Fergus to understand his wee signals :)

His poo signals are pretty unmistakeable though!

The main downside I felt with it is that it makes it very difficult for anyone else to take care of your child. As such it is strongly of the attachment parenting school and very mother dependant.

DH and I have a slightly different philosophy, and want fergus to be happy with multiple trusted care-givers, so we've steered a little clear of it for those reasons.

SusanC on the parent club thread has been trying it with alice. There is some more about it on her blog, so if you spot that she's posted on parent club, you could click the linkie for more of a read around...

Yeah I'd like the pink quota kindof :) OH & I have a bet on - he thinks girl I think boy, whoever loses buys Wagamama's for lunch tomorrow! I've already bought some boy bits so will feel silly if I'm wrong :D

Thanks Weezl - know you'd know :) I'd love the book if you're sure you don't mind? Can Paypal some money to you :) I'm really intrigued by it all - my mum had me & my younger sis out of nappies by 11 months, more down to financial need with me than necessity, then there was no looking back when my sister arrived many years later, as she found it so much easier to potty train a baby than a toddler. Never really understood quite how she did it, or really questioned it, but thinking it's worth at least researching now.

Tried to get a Drs appointment as I am feeling worse by the hour but no joy til tomorrow morning :(

I hope I dont forget lol

I was planning on asking the sex once she has done all her checks? is that what you guys would do???

Do they give you a chance to ask?

ours were like: do you want to know the sex?
    us:yes please!
them: oh good, cos if not we'd have had to switch the monitor off, he's pretty obvious!

All the way home DH was grinning: 'that's ma boy' :rotfl:

Lol, i laid there the whole time fretting over when was the best time to ask, cos i'd read about others' experiences where they'd been rude to them for asking straight away so i didn't know!

So when she'd done all her checks and then turned the screen to me, i then asked if it was possible to find out the sex. She was like "we don't look unless you ask"

I thought, eh? i am asking - lol...

So i don't know if she'd have preferred me to ask sooner. She wasn't very approachable but i hope yours will be. Just ask when you lie down, IMO.
