Morning ladies - being welsh myself loving the welsh names - keep them coming. We have sian for a second name if it is a girl and sion for a seccond name if it is a boy. purley because they are both easy to say.

So it is Farid Sion for a boy and Farihah Sian if it is a girl. I dont like farid but oh chose the first names and i chose (as long as it was easy to say) the seccond names - it so i am praying that it is a girl.

The welsh girls names that were on our list
    Myfanwy beloved
    wynne friend
    seren star
    siriol cheerful
    nia bright
    Sian
    Rhian

The welsh boys names that were on our list
    aeron battle ending
    dyfri water
    huw mind/heart
    idris
    sion god is gracious

I dont think anyone else is looking for arabic names on this forum at the mo but i would be happy to pm anyone if they are interested in our shortlists.
  • Hi everyone,
I'm sorry I haven't been on in ages. Work has been so chaotic, that I'm exhausted by the time I get home and I've had to work late lots recently - shame I don't get overtime!
Sorry but I don't think I'll be able to catch up on everything I've missed so I'm sending general hugs to everyone who needs them.
Not sure what I posted last either! Saw the consultant recently which was fine. Fell down the stairs on the way which wasn't so fine - baby's ok, but I badly bruised my knee and leg, and felt really foolish. I've got my date now for the caesarean - 13th April, and that's about all my baby-related news. In other news, I'm really hating my job and I'm on a countdown until I can leave (not nearly soon enough as I'm only 13 + 5). I'm taking 5 weeks holiday before my ML, so I'm due to finish on the 22nd Feb.
Hope everyone's ok, and I'll try and be a bit better at keeping up this week!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Morning all, loving the welsh names my neighbor is welsh may see if she has any ideas on baby names!

Well my butt wipe of a neighbor was at it again last night, not music but he decided to kick the close door in twice last night once at 1am that woke me in a freight (i have mums car because she is not well) then again around five. Not sure about the 5 am one as i slept hrough it lol but OH left me a note to warn me in case their is class. Actually i think he left the note so that if their is glass i clean it for him taking out the dogs lol

Was meant to be catching up on house work today but i just cant face it, will have to do some washing as i'm behind but not sure if i can get my mind round anything else. Guess it will still be their tomorrow. Will make a cuppa and try to start, cleaning vibes are needed i think lol

    Appropriate vibes to all.

No change from the otherday, she had an emergency opp for a tachia tube(the throat one) because the original one(threw the mouth) was getting blocked and causing complications. It made a big differance her meds were dropped within hours and she recognized us when we went to see her that night. She's still out of it but we believe she recognized us.

How are you feeling beenie, have you started on the decorating or are you doing it tomorrow lol

You.ve just reminded me beenie i need to look for a new bed. I kept saying to OH the other day that i felt like i was rolling over on the bed and could only get comfy laying one way and he had a good laugh at my expense blaming baby weight. Then when i was changing the sheets i spotted the problem. The bar at the side is damaged and starting to bend:eek: I think it may have been the dogs getting jiggy lol

    Off to search.

    eek!!!!

    Hello everyone....

Just reading from the sidelines at the mo, its v.early days for me, only 7 weeks and im scared witless or miscarrying, lost a baby last sept and i'm trying affirmations to help calm my nerves and think positively......

So just thought i'd say hi and ask if anyone has any experience to share re their pregnancy after a m/c?

    Hi and congrats :)

No personal experience I'm afraid, but just wanted to give you a gentle loving prod to get yourself some iron tabs, as there's evidence that a mc can deplete your iron and make it harder for your body to lay down good placental tissue :)

Help, i spent 2 hours cooking a roast and could only manage half of it! Rapidly running out of room in there!

I'm not touching the RLT, my first labour was too fast and they've said this one will prob be even quicker so i don't really want to be encouraging it even more.
Although i know it benefits you after birth, but it speeds up 2nd stage labour doesn't it, so i think my perinuem is gonna want at least a little bit of time to try and stretch

Beenie to the MWs in your area practice 'controlled crowning'? Its a technique where they manually support the skin of the perineum as you push and it's very effective for preventing tears in quick labours. Perhaps you could request it? HTH xxx
ooh thanks for that I quite like Ianto (Yanto), I have just moved to wales and was thinking of welsh names for my latest, I also quite like Oshan for a boy (probs spelt wrong one of my daughters new welsh friends) does anyone now of any welsh names ~ girl or boy names (with pronunciations) :)

    Zak's also a great name :)

    oooh welsh names, fab :T:T:T

    I also like
    Osian

    have you thought of
Meirian (girl) said May-Ree -ann or Meirion (boy) said My -ree -on

    or
    Heilwen (hail-when)

Ceinwen (Kine {to rhyme with wine} -when)

    Catrin, Megan, Bethan, Rhiannon, Rhianwen

    Elias, Tomos, Dewi, Daffydd (Dav-ith)

    Morning all,

went to kiddicare in peterborough yesterday , and to be honest wasn't as good as i thought , especialy with hour and half drive there and back , thought i was going to grab some bargains , hardly any clothes , baby or maternity , the best thing its for is pushchairs and cots, if you want to try any cot or pram pushchair then its the place to travel too , if not i would buy online and save the fuel costs .
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec
