eek!!!!
Hello everyone....
Just reading from the sidelines at the mo, its v.early days for me, only 7 weeks and im scared witless or miscarrying, lost a baby last sept and i'm trying affirmations to help calm my nerves and think positively......
So just thought i'd say hi and ask if anyone has any experience to share re their pregnancy after a m/c?
Hi I think there are quite a few of us here after previous miscarriages. I had a missed miscarriage about 18 months ago. I'm 7 weeks 6 days now after a scan yesterday because of some bleeding, it was reassuring although I still worry about the next scan as with the missed miscarriage I measured 8 weeks when the baby stopped growing but should have been 11 weeks. I dont think there is anything i can say that will make you feel more confident about this pregnancy until after you have had the 12 week scan but just know you are not going through this alone xxx0 -
Somnium- how do you work in MC and not spend all your wages in there?! I was in there today and there is so much cute stuff....if I got a staff discount in there I woud be unstoppable, I swear!
Feeling very back-achey and some period type pains tonight. OH is on a night tonight so hoping that he gets a phonecall from me to say he needs to come home!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
sounds promising gisi. do you think bubs will be early? Was there any doubts about your edd initially? - i cant remember:o have you upped your rlt recently?
OMG - i am 49th on the list - how did that happen:eek:0 -
Gisi - its easy I just don't have the money to spend in the first place hehe. Although if I do, and there are bargains to be had then am leathal, which is why even before I had found out was PG had the worlds biggest bottom drawer! But has resulted in us not having to spend very much now.
Gonna be V dangerous at the baby show tomorrow Mum gave us a huge £200 to spend on her first and possibly only grandaughter, that and MIL is coming with us too and she is hell bent on buying lots of baby goodies too! Erm so much for her not being spoilt, ah well least she's too young to know and it probably wont last.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Evening all, hope every one is well. welcome to newbies(pg brain has blanked the name:mad:)
Think i set my self up for disappointment with sis toady, after all the relatively good news yesterday i felt my heart sink when they said no change. Strange because i know it will be ages yet but somehow it was a shock. Must stay positive.
Seen a special offer in tesco on nappies made a mental not of price size etc so i could let you all know but when i have went to type i cant even remember what make of nappies it was lol I'm useless:rolleyes:

Hiya, I know exactly how you feel, I miscarried before I had any children and I am now expecting No.5  I was nervous until the 12 week mark with each pregnancy, I try other activities and try not too think too much about being pregnant until the 12week mark just to take my mind of it so I am more relaxed, not completely ignore being pregnant but just try not to make it the only thing I think of all the time, after my miscarriage it completely knocked my confidence, I do have a few friends who have also had a miscarriage and have all gone on to have healthy pregnancies and babies, I know its hard but do try to stay positive and last of all ....... Congratulations0 -

Well hubby well and truely had a good laugh at my expense! I went upstairs and told him i was getting my pj's on but i saw my swimsuit in the same draw and as i am doing aquanatal for the first time next week i tried it on and stood at the top of the stairs while hubby came up.
Well he about wet himself he was laughing so much! Nice! Really boosted my confidence up didn't it. At least i could laugh with him :rotfl:
He tried to put it nicely but held back what he really thought. He said he didn't realise just how big i was  and just didn't expect it as he thought he would see me in my pj's
It's a good job hippos can swim isn't it, hopefully there will be bigger women there. It's just not a nice bump anymore it's suddenly spread around. I will look like my gym ball soon! This is my signature!0 -

My friends 2 children have welsh names Angharad (means Beloved; much loved) is her girl and lochlan (means Warrior from the Land of the Lochs) is her boy pronounced how they are spelt really. She has a very common surname so choose these names to liven it up.
I also have a another friend with a welsh name and i personally love it although she doesn't, her full name is morwenna but she shortens it to wenna which is still nice and quite different. Again she has a very common surname and it does suit her. This is my signature!0 -
