EA - i ams suffering from bad heartburn too this last week is the worst ever , its unbearable at times , also my bubs HB is on the right side of belly button too , and kicks are on left and right hand side , he loves it in the bath when i cover my belly with the water he gives me a little kick , erm maybe its the opposite , hes not liking it ,

PP , that just seems weird no deposit ,,,, but if he takes the last months rent that is really classed as a deposit , i would wonder where you stand if anythong should go wrong with him classing as no deposit being paid , i have been in rented accomodation for last 9 years and moved 4 time s, and every landlord has had a deposit , its a security for me and the landlord.

Same here i have been privatly renting since 2002 and this is the first time i have come across it however i dont really want to rock the boat if you know what i mean in all other aspects he is a really good landlord, its another one of his properties i am moving into, my tenancy hasnt ended on this one he causes me no problems has even come round n put things like shelves and mirrors up for me which i havent been able to do myself :o When i first moved in here back in June he was actually here on the day helping me to make sure i didnt lift anything heavy :o

I intend on staying in this house til all the kids leave primary school at the very earliest so we are looking at another 11 years and he is well aware of that and is happy for me to stay on as a long term tenant, i really dont want to cause him any problems for it to cause me problems in the long run if you know what i mean

PP, i have just read the shelter website , but i don't really understand it , it looks like you can rent with no deposit , it just seems a weird way to rent a property , what if you were to damage it and it would cost him a lot to repair if you had paid a deposit he would take out of that , but if you havent paid i'm not sure what would happen , its hes loss ,

but i think the last months rent would class as a deposit and by law he must put it in a scheme , i would check with shelter so you are covered heres a link to the WEBSITE these are great people helped me out over the years when i had problems with tenancys

EDIT : ah well if you been with him for while then i wouldnt worry , , its just may be hes loss if any damage arrises and he has no deposit to take it out of
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec

I might just ring shelter and see if they can clarify on it for me just so that i know for myself and if nothing else inform him so that he doesnt get into trouble, from the state of the new house when i saw it the other day people are clearly taking advantage of the fact that there is no deposit his own words were 'im suprised its in this good a state i expected it to be worse' so i hate to think of the state of others  i know in another one of his properties a few weeks ago he had to redecorate the whole house rip out all carpets and pretty much do everything it must be costing him a small fortune doing it like this

Sorry if this is a bit of TMI but have any ladies had a lot of vaginal discharge during their pregnancy? I seem to be getting tonnes of it  but according to my doctor there are no signs of thrush (though i was prescribed canesten) and i have no itching 'down there'. I really would like to know if this is normal or a cause for concern and also if there is anything that can be done to reduce the amount of the stuff (sorry again for TMI). Guess i am worrying because i had 2 previous miscarriages and one was around the 7/8 week mark.

btw - i'm only 7+3 weeks pregnant (if that's of any relevance)

"Almost all women have more vaginal discharge in pregnancy. It should be clear and white and it should not smell unpleasant. If the discharge is coloured or smells strange, or if you feel itchy or sore, you may have a vaginal infection. Tell your doctor or midwife. The most common infection is thrush, which your doctor can treat easily. You can help prevent thrush by wearing loose cotton underwear. If vaginal discharge of any colour increases a lot in later pregnancy, tell your doctor or midwife." NHS Direct http://www.nhs.uk/planners/pregnancycareplanner/pages/vaginaldischarge.aspx

    Hope this helps

MrsI - I've had increased discharge my whole pregnancy. It's fairly normal AFAIK.

jha thanks for that i didn't know they existed. I've applied for a budgeting loan from dwp though so that should get me through, but still fuming with ex for not buying anything for baby. I didn't sign up to be a single parent, but somehow i'm left on benefits (which i hate!) while he spends £200-£300 a WEEK on himself!!

Kind of, it's an interest free loan which they take directly from my benefits to repay! I'll be paying back about £30 a month for a £800 loan.

Yeah i've put in for the hipg but not had it yet, better get it soon cos my MOT is next week  Not applied for Surestart one yet cos i didn't have the form at my 30wk MW appt so need to wait til my 34wk one for that!
