It's just the Betty's bit that's the problem, as in Betty's Tea Rooms who are owned by Taylor's of Harrogate. Linky

Thanks for looking though! I don't fully understand how it all works but I'd rather just get a new website I think than start trying to battle some large company with a legal team etc

And seeing as they do baked goods I can see it would be unlikely that I would ever win any argument to keep my name.

Just a bit stuck for a new name now!! I'll need to have a good think about it.

    Sorry to butt in

What about *insert your surname* Cakes? That sounds pretty cool
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • Hi Glam, no need to apologise for posting!!!

Yeah I was hoping to think of something a bit more homely (and that people wouldn't need spelling out!), although you are right it doesn't sound bad!

I just thought of cutiepiecupcakes.co.uk as DH calls me cutie pie, but someone already has that!

Fishcake - are you in scotland i think they only do one scan at around 16 weeks? three will know better than me.
The official answer is only one scan at 12 weeks but most women get scanned to early so get 2. Unless like me previous complications have you in for more,(and you don't know you are PG till 20+ weeks:rolleyes:)
Does anybody have any experience of taking part in pregnancy studies? The main downside I can see at the mo is that I would have to have extra blood tests

    Muso x
They take the extra bloods at the same time as your other bloods usually just an extra vile. I found it helped put my mind at rest too as i felt more attended too! HTH

Sweet and Juicy cup cakes.. no idea if it's taken just a suggestion!
OH ended up with a canvas of Steve Mcqueen on the motor bike from the great escape, his choice not mine lol
PP hope you get things sorted with the flat, selfish people!
Hugs to those waiting on scans, hope all is well!
Hope everyone is well and having a good night.

Getting really peeved at my local freecycle most of the posts are wanted adverts, one is asking for a working TV of a certain size must have matching stand and remote!!! !!!!!! people get real can't you just ask for a TV and be thank full. Hpnestly it would be like one off us having the balls to ask for an engraved cot must have matching changer and new mattress..................... of to consider being a selfish B.lol
    Night all.

Morning girls. I need some advice/reassurance.....I woke up this morning feeling totally different ie no nausea or sore boobs, I also woke up with mild 'period pains'. I just feel 'different'. There hasnt been any blood etc. My period wouldve been due the start of next week and wondered if that was why Im feeling different - or maybe Im clutching at straws and its a sign of the beginning of the end.....
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D

EA - have you felt any flutters from bubs yet? I got my first proper kick the other night (was 19+6) and have had a few more since. Seems she likes mint hot choc as I've had kicks while drinking it twice hehe.

Not really felt anything, im 19+6 now. I thought i felt a little movement last night. But then couldn't feel anythng else afterwards. Prob cause of my extra padding :p
It's at QA, what about yours?

Yeah mine is at QA to, at 9am though :( I hate being up early on days off work

just seen this and had to post it after our discussions about the post the other week.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1221003/Sorry-Why-does-Royal-Mail-leave-card-know-in.html?ITO=1490&referrer=yahoo

hmmm i think i know what i'll get mum for Xmas lol

Another alternative? How about using a mischievous website that has been set up which allows you to print off your own ‘Sorry’ card to stick on your front door.

Cleverly designed to mimic the Royal Mail’s version, it reads: ‘Sorry, I Am In. You’ll just have to ring the bell and make the delivery.’

Making sure first, of course, that your bell is fully functional.

Yes there will be a part 2, how many episodes did you watch from part 1? they do this now to make more money, they release the series in part 1 and part 2 then they release it complete as well

    For Example

    http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/3366757/Heroes-Season-1-Part-1/Product.html series one part one

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Heroes-Season-Part-Jack-Coleman/dp/B000RGSOWS series one part two

Yeah there was a big article in the Guardian (I think) a week or so ago saying that if it happens to you, to call Royal Mail's ntl customer service number immediately and the postman would likely face disciplinary action!! It's all the media attention...they want to be seen to be doing something.

yorkygal - I wouldn't put too much stock into 'feeling different'. I was never sick nor really sore or anything for my whole trimester, so it was really hard to 'feel pregnant'. It doesn't necessarily mean anything bad, every woman is different with how pregnancy affects them. Just keep your spirits up and hope for the best!! The only thing you can do is sit back and wait for your 1st scan (which is soooo hard, I know) or if you REALLY need peace of mind, book a private one - they only cost around £100 and can just put your mind at ease. Also, period pains are a good thing b/c it's your uterus stretching!!

Just wanted to say yay, I'm 30 weeks today! :D:D Scary to get into the 30s now...
