EA hope you get things sorted with your eyes. I wasn't aware that your prescription was more likely to change whilst preg, was wondering why I seemed to be becoming blinder by the day! V jealous that your scan is Monday 9am too, we've gotta wait til Tuesday aft, which means a morning of worrying!!
Well I've woken up feeling cr*p, throat is closing up - blaming it on the MIL who had a chest infection when I saw her the other dayOn the bright side, OH said I looked pregnant last night!! Not sure if it was a lame attempt to reassure me but nice to hear all the same, all anyone else says is 'wow, can't believe you're almost 20 weeks, or even pregnant at all'
xxx
Aww your OH is sweet, my OH said "Wow your getting massive" I of course punched his arm :rotfl:
I've been getting blinder i noticed, but i paid for this months contacts so im using them
Our 12 week scan was at 3:20pm, which was horrible. Im glad this is such an early morning appointment.
OH's mum has an appointment same time as me in the same building for a smear test or something, so they are going to drive us up now
If your not working that day sleep in as late as you can then the day will go a bit quicker0 -
Morning everyone
Yorkygal: I know its hard not to worry but as long as your not bleeding I would try not to... all 3 of my pregnancies have been different.
With DS1 I bled from week 12 to 29, DS2 I didnt have any symptomes untill 14 weeks and that was only slight nausea that didnt last, (was probably too much pizza hut that night looking back..)
This time I felt constantly sicky and tired for the 1st 11 weeks.
Have no advice to add other than try and relax as much as possible and think positive... sending hugs to you.
Oooo... these NCT sales sound good... may have to look into this!
Does anyone know if pram retailers have "January sales"?
We are unsure whether to wait off untill then before we buy the big stuff we need.....

Hi Kindof, did you check if you can take strepsils while pregnant? I remember taking one but being too scared to take any more because I didn't know if I could or not and didn't find anything conclusive on the internet.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Morning!
Crap nights sleep, just lay there awake most of it, still in pj's but have eaten. Wanted to nip on quick to see if there had been any births/labours starting!...not mine yet, still flamin waiting..I'm seriously starting to think I imagined all that bloody gunky stuff that were in my pj bottoms Monday morning!!
Gisi, have fun at the sale, hope you manage to grab some bargains, busy day for me too once I get my bum into gear and get dressed. Going to Nettos to pick up a few boxes of Frosties while there on offer this weekend..Im totally LOVING/craving frosties at the mo,yum yum! Then were taking the kids to Hull fair for the afternoon (massive massive fairground for those who don't know!) so lots of walking to hopefully encourage something to start! Although I'm thinking the 19th would be a nice pattern..DD born on a 1st of a month(jan), DS born on a 10th(april)..so if the 9 days inbetween pattern were to continue..the 19th it'll have to be lol
Think I'd best go get ready to go out, obviously wayyy too much time on my hands! Hope everyone has a good day xx
Labour vibes to those needing them xxxlove my little man he is amazing :j0 -

Just saw in your sig kindof the money you've saved from not smoking. Thats really impressive!
I keep trying to get my mum to stop smoking, but its not working0 -
kindof some strepsils are soothers like lockets and some have more active ingrediants in, worth checking with a pharmacist i think. I have a sore throat too so I understand, we have strepsils in the house but I dont want to take them just incase. I might get some lockets if they say they are ok on them. warm drinks are good for sore throats too.0
