EA - I'm in London and even still there's only one within a decent distance about once a month! It's weird...not sure how GISI scored so many - she must be lucky, hehe. Luckily you've got a while to get to one or two so keep checking the website, there might be some more popping up closer to you in the new year or something.
The NCT sale was mental. The queue was huge when we got there (10 minutes before the doors opened) and it was pretty dog eat dog once you got inside! I'm very happy with my haul though- got this sling for £4, a couple of pram cellula blankets for £1.50 the pair and a few clothes.
All the NCT sales in my area seem to be at the same time! Hence this one and one a fortnight ago. There was another one within ten miles of my today too, which I obviously didn't go to and one quite nearby last weekend that I also skipped. I think they tend to do the twice a year, so now and then in the spring. This one had better bargains than the last one I went to, but I definitely won't be taking bubs when I go to the spring ones. That can be a Grandparent day, I think!
Sorry so many people are feeling pants today. Honey and lemon is undoubtedly the best cure all.
Helen- sending you lots of labour vibes, if you could send them back when you're done with them! I'm sure everyone feels like this, but I really can't see myself lasting another three weeks. Not sure why, just think I'll go before then (fingers crossed).:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Hi all, sorry not been around yesterday, my dad came over for the day and helped us put up lots of bits we had waiting to be done (we are not very good at DIY!!) so we now have a nice black out blind up in our bedroom, a coat storage hook thing in the hall, tie backs for our dining room curtains, our stairgate has been put up too and our washing machine fixed
Yay for my dad!!
Well Ive just caught up. Lots of labour vibes to Helen!! I am 36+3 now and starting to feel more uncomfortable now when walking around etc. Going for an indian with our friends tonight and probs to the pub after but cant see me staying out very late tbh.
GISI - Labour vibes to you too as you are full term now arnt you? Im getting impatient already so fingers crossed you go before 40 weeks
I have upped my RLT to 2 cups a day this week, discovered they sell it in the next town to me in Julian Graves so that was good, £1.39 for 20, so got 2 boxes. Must finish packing my hospital bag today, I have got everything now, just need to fit it in!! Lol!!

**labour vibes to everyone in need!**
Just had a big tasty with bacon, it was looovely
Had to eat in in 10 mins though as it took as 10 mins to get there and 10 mins to get food, and we only get a 30 minute lunch break. Had to eat my fries walking back to work lol.
But it was worth it *rubs tummy*0 -
Ooh I forgot to say that I went and got measured for my nursing bras in Mothercare. I am a 42DD, which is annoying as the pretty ones only go up to 40! I think I'll get re-measured after bubs is here as the woman said your ribsize goes down after you've had bubs. I bought one twin pack for now to keep me going though!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

I need to get to mothercare but a few people on here said not to go there as they are crap lol.
But i dont live near a Bravissimo0 -
The one I went to was good. The size she suggested was comfy, but with room for expansion. I was a bit mortified to have to show off my stretchmarked stomach, but hey ho!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

cant believe Jack is 6 weeks old now - he is fab but has a poorly belly button (link) & is on antibiotic steroid creamA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
I might pop into mothercare on monday. Will i have to get topless? Cause i was under the impression that by wearing a to small bra is squishs your boobs smaller therefore giving an incorrect bra measurement lol.
And thank you glam!
Jack is to cute!
Quick Q, how many size 1 nappys have you gotten through so far? Im looking for a rough guide to how many i can buy in advance x0 -
Hi everyone
La Senza do really nice nursing bras if you're a smaller size, up to 38E I think (so no use to us GISI!) I got measured there last week, it was January I was last measured, and I'd gone up 1 back size but lost 2 cup sizes!
Aww Glam Jack's belly button looks really sore. Emily's wasn't as bad as that but it went a bit manky because the midwife had cut the cord too short plus the clamp rubbed on her skin.
