Beenie - my work colleague went on holiday right after I came back from 1 so when he came back he hadn't seen me for 4 weeks, when I walked in, first thing he said was, "whoa - baby!" LOL, not the most tactful thing of course, but I found it hilarious.

    Nice new thread.

Had a nice morning today getting my hair cut and eyelashs tinted, so now feeling ready and glam for the birth! I'm 10th on the list, using my c section date not my due date  and I don't recognise 5 of those ahead of me, so maybe they don't post on here any more or much.

Popped into the supermarket on my way home, and was momentarily horrified when a sales assistant came running towards me, shouting "Oh my goodness you're bleeding, when's your baby due". Turned out I had bashed my tummy a little on the basket and grazed it, rather than anything more heart stopping than that. :rotfl:

Off to catch up on the old thread, and to find out about JAM's new arrival. Congrats!

My dad had a small op on his shoulder yesterday under GA and was sent home yesterday afternoon only to be rushed into a different hosp in the middle of the night due to requiring a cathether. I was hoping, as i dont want to go into the yucky hospital whilst pregnant unless i have to - he is on a particulary grotty ward that i would see him on his return. Aslo some of you are aware i am having a bit of a rough time of it at the moment.

However, his one shoulder and arm is unusable due to the op and the other only has restricted movement as it was damaged when he was born. Mum has just arrived home saying that he cant feed himself - she fed him lunch but now faces going 3 times a day to feed him as the nurses are saying there is nothing wrong with his other arm and it is not their job to feed him - any ideas as neither of us can manage to go in twice a day (so the other can go in the third time). And one of us would have to be there at all times as he cant drink.

I thaught of taking in a drink with straws so he can atleast drink something on his own - any other ideas?

That is awful! Is there not anyone that you can appeal to more senior than the nurses who are refusing to feed him to ensure that he is fed and given fluids? If not, could he be transferred to a better hospital, or one closer to you both if possible. It can't possibly be right that someone without full use of both arms, has to rely on the ability of family to visit at meal times to make sure he doesn't starve whilst on a hospital ward .

    New thread :D

I got confused as i usually go and find my last post from my mse profile but there was a padlock on it and wouldn't let me go to my post, only the first page.

To those that have added me recently on facebook, Hi!! :) Thanks for saying that your from mse, sometimes i get random adds from people so i message them asking if they are from mse, and they are like "No..." :rotfl:

Also, when did i get halfway up the 2010 list? lol. I distinctly remember being on the bottom! :p

Oooh, i called the docs today and they said if i want some gaviscon i have to go and and fill out a request form and it will take 2 working days :D
So i wont have to wait years for an apointment :)

Regarding Farmville, i did have it, but my mobile broadband is so slow and rubbish it used to lag and lagging annoys me. Also i kept forgetting to tend to my crops and they kept dying, so i quit. It was hard but i made it through :D

jha - thats awful treatment you really should put in a complaint and speak to some one more senior.

Nicki - eek! at the over zelous shop assistant, talk about undue panic.

Aless - agree the "whoa baby" coment not tactful but very funny hehe. I'm lucky enough to already have a pretty obvious bump even at 16 weeks, think its cos it sits high that it doesnt look fat IYKWIM.

Is farm ville better than farm town? I got addicted to that a few weeks ago, but find it real slow at times.

Oh and is it bad I'm making my 3rd batch of hob nobs this week, everyone keeps eating them lol.
