Woops, my swimming teacher did say 37 not 27 weeks - pregnancy brain strikes again but I just can't get used to saying figures in the 30's instead of 20's :o. Will have to get used to it now that I'm 35 weeks pregnant and 30! :rotfl:

I'm going to the NCT sale in Beckenham tomorrow, it's just a convenient time and not too far away. My sister went to one in Cumbria so I'll ask her about having to take cash, she advised to get there as soon as the doors open.

yes i just went to quote you aless02 and the other thread was closed and wouldn't let me.

Don't include the NHS in being flexible hubby is having a right job getting his pat leave as they want to know 3 months in advance when he will be off but how can you know when your baby is going to come? He also wants to use some hol time back to back with pat leave but they won't let him.

I know someone who booked the week off his baby was due and of course it was 2 weeks late so he couldn't take any time off other than the birth date it's self.

I've got really worried as my OH works for NHS and he only notified them officially yesterday re paternity leave and I'm due in 4-5 wks! He doesn't seem overly concerned but it was only when I saw someone yesterday (sorry can't remember who) post that there was a deadline. Which if there is I'm sure we'll have missed it  Luckily he has quite a few hols left though so should hopefully work out somehow.

There's a NCT sale near me soon so think I will have a little nosy at that thanks to all posting on this as I would never have known otherwise.

Jenny - glad you had a nice birthday! I don't know if it was you and/or Nancmat talking about having bags packed but it scared the life out of me - really am going to get moving this weekend. If you are going to go at 37 wks weeks though you should be ready ;)

Fitzio - hopefully this means it's something this time! It won't be long now x

Beenie - You had me in creases last night while I was in bed reading your posts about Kenny on my phone! Maybe he was there after all and deleted his posts mysteriously. OH wasn't too impressed by my sniggering while he was trying to get off to sleep, I don't think.

JAM - Massive congratulations on the arrival of little Charlotte!

Whoever it was (sorry cant remember) who asked if anybody was getting clumsy yesterday - OMG yes, terribly! If I pick anything up it inevitably ends up on the floor or broken which isn't very good seeing as though I can no longer reach down to pick things up. Dropped half my stuff off the belt at the checkout in Moggers before and had to kneel right down on the floor to pick it all up - took me ages to get back up again!

Does anyone else get a horrible pain travelling right up their, erm, *birth canal* when they stand-up or at random times while walking? I had a MW app on tues and urine was clear so don't reckon it's an infection  Was making some funny faces though walking around the supermarket today. Maybe Thrush again but have no other pain or itching there (sorry if TMI) I am walking like a very old woman as it is this is just another rubbish addition to my list of embarrassing ailments :o

My friends who are playing Facebook are mostly pregnant and have been on maternity leave! We are all a bit sad. And I knew one of them was in hospital as her farm was ready to harvest for about 3 days!

:rotfl: I went to bed v.v.confused and seriously doubting my own sanity. I saw it just after EA's post so went to get the EDD list and when i clicked back to check the date he'd disappeared!!
He'd posted a March date but only pasted the 2010 section and put himself after muso!

See?! I remember it so well, it must have happened!! :o:o

Lol @ birth canal - i get that sometimes too.

Well i'm officially useless today. I planned to go to town to buy some new shoes after my lovely dog ate all my others. I got as far as Morrisons and came home clutching various cream cakes  Now i feel bloated and sick and just want to go to bed!! And still no shoes!!

Update on NCT sales: My sister said take cash but if there is something big you want ask them to reserve it while you run to the bank - probably good thinking. I just hope there are some things I want there now!
