  • Can you do something not too active Beenie? I think I'm going to sort through the Xmas pressies I already have and do a list of who I still need to buy for etc.

I might also write out my birth plan as I know what needs to go in it but I haven't actually written it out yet!

Beenie - if you went to Argos now you just might finish blowing up the gym ball by dinnertime!

(if anyone does get the Value one, we used an air mattress pump to get 95% of it but found it wouldn't get it hard enough, so I did the last 5% with my mouth as it was the only to get enough air in without it all leaking back out again)

My hospital (St Georges) ran a physio class which anyone could attend at any stage of pregnancy and they explained all the changes and how to deal with them. Even covered things like how to turn over in bed and how to get up from a chair and of courses exercises to do pre and post birth. It was one of the most useful classes I went to.

  • Jenny, mine do that. I'm going to book onto it I think, sooner rather than later, as I guess it's stuff that will be useful now. Gymfriend, you wanna join me?!

    Hello Everyone!

I don't really popst on here to often, it moves too fast for me! I hit 14 weeks today! Can someone please tell me when the sickness stops? It is getting me down a bit, sick every morning as soon a I open my eyes, can't go out anywhere in the morning because of it, hardly eat until after lunch and then by evening I am so hungry I could empty the entire kitchen of food if I wanted!

Hi Jolene, poor you, it is just horrible isn't it!? The common answer seems to be just after the first trimester, so hopefully you will be feeling peachy soon. In my first pregnancy I was sick several times a day all the way through to 36weeks:eek: The doc put me on medication to stop it in the end which worked-ish... it was better anyway. Keep your midwife and doc informed and rest lots.

I expect you've read all the usual advice...eat little and often, eat ginger, eat before you get out of bed blah, blah, etc etc. All worth trying though! I ended up feeling like a wanted to hit the next person who recommended ginger last time though!

The best advice I had was eat what you want, if it pancakes 3 times a day so be it! And rest up as morning sickness is linked to tiredness.

Best wishes, hope your morning sickness stops very soon!
