Afternoon
SJ glad you're feeling better
Scotsgirl - we're getting the Bugaboo Bee, originally planned to as I was driving an Aygo though it's been traded in now for something bigger but we still love it. It folds up to be pretty small - have a nose in Mothercare I'm sure they'll show youYou also don't need a seperate carry cot like with the Quinny's etc, as it lies flat and you use a soft 'nest' thing to make it snugger. I think anyway, sure Som will be along to correct me if I'm wrong
Can't remember who was asking about when people started buying maternity? Well, I own 2 things and I'm 18+3, mum bought me some jeans at about 14 weeks though I've not worn them, and I got an ASOS skirt on eBay at about 15 weeks which I wore once as I liked it and you cant tell it's maternity from the front
Thanks for the reassurance ladies, was beginning to worry this was a phantom pregnancy, obviously 2 scans and lots of pics do nothing to reassure me!! Can't wait to either look or feel pregnant.
Moosmummy, I don't think I'd forgive my sis in law if she did that in my car :rotfl: EA I wouldn't worry about it too much, when the time comes I'm sure you'll be past caring! I might rope my dad in to take me so I can ruin his car if the situation arises, better than ruining my own :rotfl:
Lovely pic Redstar
Can't remember who it was who said those with morning sickness produce more intelligent babies? I'd like to argue that case, I've had no morning sickness :P I wonder if it's an inherited thing though as my mum didn't suffer once with us 3 and always carried small, and I seem the same. For arguments sake, I'm pretty intelligent too:rotfl:
OH has had it confirmed that he's away Tuesday to Friday nxt week, I hate it when he's not around, my mums already said to go and stay with her. Pathetic really, I've lived in my own home for the last 3 years (with OH) should really have grown up enough to be able to spend a few nights alone!! Managed to get quite a lot done today despite being in a bit of a mood about him going away, went to Tesco's and managed to do the shopping for £13, hardly bought anything as we've so much food in the cupboards there's no point plus it'll be tea for one most of next week. Though I did buy 2 packs of 5 jam doughnuts...and I've eaten 3 already
Now...decisions on tea, should we have chicken tikka pitta wrap thingys, or fajitas, or enchiladas? I'm rubbish at making decisions at the moment!!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
gym - as a native Texan, my answer will always be fajitas!!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
:xmassmile Mummy to Finn - 12/09; Micah - 08/12! :j0 -
There is definitely evidence around that hyperemisis has a genetic element - and I recently discovered that both my mum and her sister had it in their first pregnancies.
Although can I just hate you for having no sickness please, it's not fair!! *stamps foot* lol0 -
SJ , if you remember with my op , i got bad constipation with my bowels shutting down ,
the hospital gave me peppermint squash , lactouse syrup , also i ate when i got home raisins , fruit and fibre and drank loads of water and it worked , HTH , i did have those basset peppermint creams too and they are lovely.
Hugs laura i'm so sorry
And hugs to always fingers crossed everything is fine xxDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
Scotsgirl I know I was really lucky now, but at the time I thought I must be making the pregnancy up as I had no symptoms at all!!
OH has voted with his stomach, chicken tikka pittas it is! Though the more I think of it the more I fancy enchiladas..hmm
Ooh Aless didn't realise you were from Texas, my brother used to go every year to ride his bmx - apparently very popular there specifically?!
I'm so cold it's unbelievable, I can no longer feel my fingers.
Not sure if you'll remember but I was on about Tesco rejecting my credit card app the other day, well, I ordered my credit report and it's as squeaky clean as possible, so I've not the foggiest as to why they rejected! Not sure if ringing them's pointless though as they'll no doubt not tell me?Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Before i go find a pic, Enchiladas!!
They were one of my ever changing weekly cravings
Also im really fcuked off! Got home and found a note in our letterbox from The council saying "we've sent to letters to this address over the past few weeks to sign up for the electrol roll, and had no response, so i came out today to collect your completed form and you weren't in. I will be back tomorrow to collect your form"
We have never recieved a form! We have only lived here since 21st sept, and only post from the council is to tell us when to pay our council tax. But i know when the guy comes round tomorrow and we say we never got it, he'll say "everyone says that we sent them so you should have it ready for me"
And i dont want to get a fine
And i called them at 4:59pm, and the office was closed with a message saying we close at 5pm lol.
Also i work all day, what made him think anyone would be in during a weekday.
*sigh* lol.
Just had two flake bars, they made me feel better

Gymfiend - When virgin rejected my credit card app they told me why. SO its worth a try.
Mine was cause i changed my surname, job and address in the space of a month. And it looked dodgy to them lol.
ETA: Redstar - seen your scan pic now! Aww its so cute

SJ - you inspired me to get some exercise as well! I needed to put my prescription in the drs and get some 4head to try (had another headache again today
) and was going to drive but decided to walk instead
The walk actually did me a lot of good and cleared my head. Plucked up the courage to ask for a urine sample container while I was there aswell lol.
Picked up a chippy for DH as a birthday treat while I was out so altogether the most productive hour of my day lol. Just need him to come home so we can eat it now!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
