I can hear that on the recording ea - mine skips beats and changes tempo same as yours (i dont know if you remember me saying) i am suprised our hb are so similar though:eek: Mine skips on the 6th beat.
I cant say enough good things about the bt / hi-baby one i rented off ebay. But loads of ladies on here have got more experience than me about buying / renting and the different makes0 -
Hey dont feel silly - when i first got my doppler i was delighted i could hear the baby popping around - it was my bowels:rotfl:
And someone coming after you on the edd list will now know all about dopplers and picking up the babys heart beat which is good:D
:rotfl: When i first got it i was 9 weeks and thought i could hear something, it was my tummy digesting food
Thanks Beenie i'll have a listen when 2 mobile broadband wants to be ncie again0 -
Don't feel silly- but have a fiddle and see if you can get one that sounds more like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_j-wcWF7Tuk
that clip has your placenta sounds at the start too, at 50 seconds the baby's hb is there
What a useful link beenie - i am going to bookmark that for my oh:D how are you feeling today.0 -

Haha Beenie, that was the one i found that made me think i got it wrong in the first place hehe.
jha- I did wonder who it was that mentioned there heartbeat (bad memory) who did you rent yours off of on ebay? I'd trust ebay more0 -

My heartbeat is weird so i cant compare it to mine, mine changes between slow and fast lol. And sometimes sounds like its skipping a beat.
I'll have another go after i've showered this evening with a full bladder. I wont hold out ot much hope as its not a great doppler.
Anyone rented one from anawiz.com? I would rent a good one after i've sold this one, but i dont want to be ripped off lol x
I bet by the time you get that through you'll be feeling movements so won't bother with it :rotfl:.
My midwife took a while to find the HB today and i'm 36wks. Baby wouldn't stay still long enough.
On that note, MW commented that my baby has had a consistently high HB so was probably a girl . Has anyone heard this? It's tended to be 150bpm which is high, but as we don't know the sex I'm surprised she just came and said it.
(By the way the :eek:was that she came out and said it, not that it's a girl. I will be thrilled either way).:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Thanks jha i'm not too bad, so tired all the time though. My days are getting increasingly depressing, i can't function at all and end up spending the afternoon in bed with the dog  I think it's a combination of being fed up, lazy, and bored. But i hve loads i need to be doing, i just can't motivate as per  Wish i was still working, cos i've never been a bum til this year and it's hard work to motivate when you don't really have to.
edit - lots of eye rolling in this post, here's some more :rolleyes::rolleyes:0 -
