Loving the pic redstar - so much clearer than my 8wk blob photo from yesterdays scan lol
I was just so pleased to see a baby - I wasn't sure what I'd have done if they had told me it was all in my head! Last time, even at my 20 weeks scan, for some reason, I kept doubting that there really was a baby - even with my bump as proof!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

I was considering taking DD, but thinking it over I thought it better not to, so I left her at nursery until after and gave her a picture - not sure it was what she was expecting though. I thought I was coming up to 14 weeks as originally my EDD was the 12th April, but they've put it back by 8 days to the 20th. Might help explain why the morning sickness hasn't gone yet....
My first EDD was 3rd March, had a scan at what i thought was 8 weeks exactly, they stole 9 days and my new EDD was 12th March, then at the 12 week scan i was 12+1 and they gave me back 5 days and made me 12+6 and my newer EDD was 7th March.
So im sticking with that one now, i even have it on my calender! lol.
My 6 week scan pic was a little smudge baby haha

I got a pair of black maternity trousers in Asda today, £14 which I thought was very reasonable.
I'm only 9 + 6 so quite early to be getting maternity stuff I think but my trousers are digging into me at work and making me feel sick lol. I'm only feet all day so can't fall back on undoing buttons and zips or they'll fall down
I'd say if you are uncomfortable in your normal clothes then it's not too early for mat wear!! You won't be wearing any maternity clothes for as long you'd wear new regualr clothes too so I reckon you're better buying earlier rather than later then you can get your wear out of them!Evansangel wrote: »My first EDD was 3rd March, had a scan at what i thought was 8 weeks exactly, they stole 9 days and my new EDD was 12th March, then at the 12 week scan i was 12+1 and they gave me back 5 days and made me 12+6 and my newer EDD was 7th March.

Which just goes to show how "accurate" the dates are that they give you!!
Redstar, lovely scan pic and glad it went well. And 8 days isn't to bad for a difference, I think it was princessplaty who has been given 3 dates, and they are all weeks apart!!0 -
Lol, OH had been convinced he wouldn't see anything at all so he was sitting with a huge cheesy grin on his face when he saw the little heartbeat which was very cute. just want it to hurry up and be 12 weeks now - it's quite hard to keep it quiet especially when I have been off work sick for 2 weeks nearly. My boss knows, but a few of my workmates knew about my M/C so are bound to be ultra suspicious.0
