    Afternoon ladies
Just wanted to say that in this months November pegnancy and birth magazine they have a free baby whisperer book its says exclusive to sainsburys.

I tried to follow the Baby Whisperer routine thing when I had dd I ended up wanting to ring the woman who wrote it and give her a piece of my mind. Other people may find these helpful but I'm not going to be tempted by the "manuals" this time around.

Age isn't important when it comes to who's a good parent. And I've yet to meet anyone on here who didn't give every indication that they would be fab!

GISI sorry you're so fed up. Let us know if there's anything we can do.

I'm feeling generally angry today! I'm still annoyed that DH kept me awake half the night, especially when I find it so hard to sleep as it is. Now I'm annoyed that he's just sitting around all day doing nothing. I'm not doing anything but I did go to work this morning and I'm home becasue I'm not well. Now he's gone to asda for some stuff for his lunch (even tho we have plenty in that he could have if he bothered looking, and we have no money just now cos he's lost loads of work so I'm trying to limit the spending).

    Sorry, rant over :o

Not even looked at it but it was free, Most problay not going to rely on "manuals" either. I will either talk to my mum, aunt or nan between them they have quite a few children. Also i must admit i am sure that some of these books end up making you feel quite quilty for not following them to the letter, but I am a sucker for a free book
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j

    CONGRATULATIONS SQUISHY!

    Where's Csh's news?!

Am sat here in the office with ipod on, trying to chill out before I kill someone. Somni - so empathise with you on stress at work, I do have a lazy !!!!! deskjob but the not sleeping thinking about work is oh so familiar - was awake from half 3 for a good couple of hours last night. You'll see the light at the end of the tunnel before you know it, I can't believe I finish 2 weeks today :D argh, before I forget, congrats on team pink

we have 32 week scan in the morning to see how little one is growing, he's wriggling lots and my belly seems to be bigger by the day so am not too worried.

back to the work tedium now, what joy

Oh no, I hope I haven't passed on the crying-ness!

I don't actually feel particularly crappy or down, just keep crying

Karen- I think it sounds like you've done loads today so don't beat yourself up about it. Could you go and have a nice bath or something now to see if that perks you up a bit?

GISI - definitely not your fault - but the bath recommendation is definitely a good idea, I am going to run it now :)
