A quick daft question - will I be ok to have a child sit on me etc if theyve an allergy rash??? Not sure what kind of allergy rash but he has picked it up from school

Mrs Ihenetu - saw your post a few pages back about using a hot water bottle and just wanted to say I think they advise not to put it directly on your tummy but otherwise fine.

CONGRATULATIONS SQUISHY!!!!

Any advice on what tops are good to wear for breast feeding? Do people generally wear specially made tops or shirts or just manage with normal tops?

I'd want to know what kind of rash it is, if I were you. If it's an allergy to something like washing powder etc then I'd be fine with contact. If you don't know the cause of the rash then I'd err on the side of caution if you can and steer clear of direct contact as far as possible. If in doubt give NHS Direct a call to check whether it's anything contagious or dangerous in pregnancy.

Gisi had tuna crunch from greggs and jam donunt and was naughty and a sausage roll as well and now cant move. It was the best, thank you so much.

Oh my..Im now 12th on the list and 37 weeks today...fully cooked!!! :T:D
Im still losing bits of my plug but wow,last night,I had the best nights sleep in agggessss! I only had to get up once for a wee:eek: so today Im feeling buzzed,ontop of the world and full of energy,it's very strange!! I thought I'd better make good use of this sudden burst of energy so when I dropped the kids at school I went into town and rushed around here there and everywhere getting the last few bits off my list. Called at the local p.office depot to collect my cot bedding that was tried to be delivered yesterday while I was out, and went and bought some paint from Focus cos I just HAVE to re decorate our kitchen :rotfl:My head is buzzing with all the jobs I wanna get done,Ive had to make a list cos I can't think straight. I've got a big wall painted so now Im catching up here with some jaffa cakes and a RLT before time for school run.

Back to the cot bed set...omg it's just beautiful! I got abit teary when I took it all out of the packaging, so happy with it!! Can't wait to wash it in Fairy so it smells all yummy but at same time Im scared to wash it incase I ruin it!!

Oh Oh and my sure start grant has been accepted..recieved cheque today..only posted application off Thursday last week :j

Gymfiend- wow, what a lovely toned tummy u have..mine didn't even look like that before I was pregnant!!
I daren't post anymore bump pics, Im too massive now! Walked into health food shop this morning,only had got a foot through the door and the woman behind the counter yells over "raspberry leaf tea???" I was like erm yeah,how did you guess lol and she looked at my belly and laughed and said "well,it kind of goes before you" She asked how long I had left and when I said 3 weeks she shut up..think she must have thought I was this big and still had a few months to go or something!! lol

Just as a random tidbit that I swear nobody's mentioned before...when you go to have your anti-D injection they make you wait 20-30 minutes afterwards before you can leave. Wish I had known as made me mega-late for work! (seeing as they called me in an hour late anyway, grrrrr)

helen, glad to see you're still in good spirits! I really hope I hit that same spurt of energy around 37 weeks because I know I'm stil going to haev sooooo much to do!
