Just as a random tidbit that I swear nobody's mentioned before...when you go to have your anti-D injection they make you wait 20-30 minutes afterwards before you can leave. Wish I had known as made me mega-late for work! (seeing as they called me in an hour late anyway, grrrrr)

helen, glad to see you're still in good spirits! I really hope I hit that same spurt of energy around 37 weeks because I know I'm stil going to haev sooooo much to do!

it was probably to make sure u didnt go into anaphylactic shock & if u did u were in the right place to be treated (not in the car or on the tube) - is standard with any injection u've not had before. they should have told u that  silly people

    Congratulations SQUISHY!!!
Hope Csh isn't far behind u!

Oh my..Im now 12th on the list and 37 weeks today...fully cooked!!! :T:D
Im still losing bits of my plug but wow, last night,I had the best nights sleep in agggessss! I only had to get up once for a wee:eek: so today Im feeling buzzed, ontop of the world and full of energy,it's very strange!! I thought I'd better make good use of this sudden burst of energy so when I dropped the kids at school I went into town and rushed around here there and everywhere getting the last few bits off my list. Called at the local p.office depot to collect my cot bedding that was tried to be delivered yesterday while I was out, and went and bought some paint from Focus cos I just HAVE to re decorate our kitchen :rotfl:My head is buzzing with all the jobs I wanna get done,Ive had to make a list cos I can't think straight. I've got a big wall painted so now Im catching up here with some jaffa cakes and a RLT before time for school run.

Back to the cot bed set...omg it's just beautiful! I got abit teary when I took it all out of the packaging, so happy with it!! Can't wait to wash it in Fairy so it smells all yummy but at same time Im scared to wash it incase I ruin it!!

Oh Oh and my sure start grant has been accepted..recieved cheque today..only posted application off Thursday last week :D:j

Hope we are all good xxxx

Helen - ooh burst of energy - that could be a sign you know. I've heard you aren't really supposed to be tired when labour is imminant! Or hungry (?) Congrats on the sure start grant!

I'm 8th on the list now and I'm krackered! Just had a 2 hr sleep and I could have stayed there! No show or anything for me yet. Bump is hurting but I think it's the weight now on my pelvis.

This SPD (or PGP - pelvic girdle pain - which apparantly it is now called) has got proper horrible this week. My mum is now taking and picking DD up from school as it would take too long on my crutches. I couldn't even get my clothes off last night and had a little cry it was so frustrating. I really feel for people who are in pain like this all the time. Hope it doesn't last long after the birth. At physio they were saying it can be dangerous to put your legs too far apart during labour with PGP as it could cause a separation of bones in the pelvis  . They did recommend taking pain relief too. I was beginning to fret about how I would be able to give birth with this pain on top of everything else and was at first going to try just to have g + a but I don't think that's going to be possible now because the pain severly limits my movement. Not sure how you get baby out with your legs only a few inches apart though!!

I'm glad I didn't stay at work now.

Phew for a few seconds a page or so back it looked like there was going to be a younger mums are better than older mums type thing. I'm 37 - and being such a worrier have had a fair few panics about being older so don't get me worried please - not at this late stage I can't back out now :rotfl:

Huge congratulations Squishy on the birth of your daughter can't wait to see the pictures x

Going to drive round to my mum's to pick up dd now see ya later x

Glam - sorry, they did tell me WHY I had to stay (which I totally understand), I was just moaning that I didn't know beforehand so's I could schedule it properly :). Ironically I used to donate plasma back in the USA so it was kinda weird going full circle and actually receiving the fruits of someone else's donation :).

    Happy 36 weeks Gisi

Gymfiend- wow, what a lovely toned tummy u have..mine didn't even look like that before I was pregnant!!
I daren't post anymore bump pics, Im too massive now! Walked into health food shop this morning, only had got a foot through the door and the woman behind the counter yells over "raspberry leaf tea???" I was like erm yeah, how did you guess lol and she looked at my belly and laughed and said "well,it kind of goes before you" She asked how long I had left and when I said 3 weeks she shut up..think she must have thought I was this big and still had a few months to go or something!! lol

Happy 37 weeks to you! Sounds very promising for you to be very soon. Fingers tightly crossed for you.

I thought I mentioned this when I has mine . We only had to wait in the cafetieria though so it wasn't too bad!

God I am so tearful at the moment- it is driving me nuts. I just went for a lie down as I'm nackered and sore today and burst into tears! I was only lying on the bed, on my own !!!!!!. What's wrong with me :o?

Oh GISI you probably did and I just wasn't paying attention! I think I'm just annoyed because they called me in an hour late, but obviously this is normal with hospitals!

Meh, age is only what you feel! :D
