MIL knows some guys that theif stuff, and can get hold of baby formula. So she asked if i wanted any, but i said no. I want to try BF and i'll be tempted to give in if there is formula in the house.

Im gutted. I just had a lovely chicken soup from the vending machine at work, 20p. And i wanted another one, so i put £1 into another vending machine to get some change for the drinks one, and it stole my £1.
Im going to find out how i can claim it back :D

They offered SMA or Cow & Gate at the hospital (he needed a top up then) and I said 'Um, I don't know. C&G cos it's got the advert with the cute giggly babies'

The MW didn't look very impressed

  • Hi all,

I am due in just over 8 weeks time and thought I had better introduce myself! I just said hello to everyone on the Parents thread as I wanted some info on breast feeding.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of years ago (had a couple of ops, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and I am currently No Evidence of Disease ). Like I told the Parents thread, chemo was supposed to leave me infertile so it took me quite a long time to work out that I was pregnant! :rotfl:

Anyway, I hope to get to know you all much better soon!

I dont like the baby at the end of the C&G advert, his laugh annoys me lol.

I'd prob say SMA as it has a cute little duck on there :A
Well it used to, i think. Or am i imagining it? :o

hammyhunter - welcome to the thread :D Oh and big congrats on being PG against the odds, just goes to show the docs dont always get it right!

EA - I plan on getting a couple of ready made single use cartons of formula just in case their needed. We live right on top of a tesco extra but you can bet it'll be the one time I need a feed will be the time its closed. But I really am hoping that BF works for me too. Have no idea what formula I want to use though, and don't want to use any old thing so plan on doing a lil research before hand.
