  • Mmm, I'll have to ask at ante-natal tomorrow whether the hospital has fans.

    Love that blanket fattybooboo.

EA- There was quite a bit of neutral stuff at this one today and a couple of stalls selling brand new baby stuff at really good prices.

  • Thanks Sami & Glam, just been on Asda website to have a look and they do seem cheap, the fitted ones are out of stock though and I was thinking of getting these as thought they would be easier to put on, hmmm what to do!!

You could email them and ask when they are going to come back into stock and maybe reserve some? :)

Aww my nan just called, she went to ASDA and picked up some baby toiletries, some wipes and some vests for me :) I told her she didn't have to and she told me to shut up cause she wants to haha.
And she's finished my baby blanket, just needs to put the ribbon around the edge.

ooh lots of bargains being had this sunday morning hehe.

Harley - that outfit is georgous, can't imagine why they never used it.

Gisi - love the going home outfit, tres cute :D

Aless - great bargains on the TT CTN front, also hope you get the pillow your after, which type were you wanting?

Evan - fingers crossed you win your crib, my nursing chair ends around the same time so will keep my fingers crossed for both of us. I'm with you on trying to save as much money as poss, have been lucky with parents and in laws helping out on the big bits tho.

Nikkit - good tips for last minute biding there, obviously works with the baragains you've had :D How you feling today? Hope the OH is paying you more attention xxx

Always - forgot to say well done on winning those Baby Show Tickets :D Which day are they for?

Jenny - £250 is outrageous for a second hand Bee, altho your sis was lucky to get one for £300 there now about £420, good ole Bugaboo like to fix there selling prices so most places have their hands tied. I will warn you tho I see alot of them with issues at work! If you do get one do not hang anything on the handles and make sure you fold/unfold them correctly, thats the main causes of faults with them.

Well toddled off to ASDA this am to do the shop and have a nosey at the baby event bargains, picked up a cute tigger hooded towel that OH picked out. But resisted everything else. They had some lovely clothes but we want to wait till we know what we are having. Also picked up their direct catogue and they have some nice well priced baby bits in there too. Seems not sleeping was a trend last night, I got off ok but only managed an hour and a half before the disturbed sleep pattern started! Woke up with a sore back too :( On the plus side, pumped up the gym ball last night so can do some stretching on that later if it doesnt improve.

Its good! haha, this baby wont need any nappies or toiletries for the first year of its life. They all want to get some bits week by week, as does OH :D

I dont trust myself on a gymball, im scared i'll fall backwards off of it and be laying there liked a beached whale lol. I have zero balance skills :rotfl:
I fell into OH earlier and shoved him against the wall lol.

Evan - I was suprised how easy it is to balance on, not at all as wobbly as you'd think. I can sit at the com on it too, and the bouncing is really nice hehe. My MIL is gathering toiletries every shop too and has a box building in her spare room, also she has given me money to start buying the nappies we have chosen to use :D Oh and if I need to move to Formula feeding too she wants to pay for that, feel very lucky to have that kinda support.

Damn it have been out bid on the nursing chair, Grrrr! Gonna take Nikkits advice tho and leave my final bid till the last minute. Just wondering what every one thinks is a reasonable price to pay for a 2nd hand rocking/gliding nursing chair with matching foot stool. They seem to go for about £50ish pounds on Ebay.
