I always used to just have Chicken Tikka but am much better now - I lurve a Madras or a Balti! The hotter the better!

Well, he's asleep on my chest with his arms folded and head resting on his hands - his elbow is wedged in my bra!
Decided not to bother going to bed cos he'll be up soon for a feed plus I had a 3hr nap this afternoon!

It's amazing how u find the energy to keep on going - I used to be a right lazy sod and useless if I didn't get at least 8hrs sleep in a row. Last night I had 4hrs but felt fine!

  • Aww he sounds so cute Glam with his head on his hands!! Yes it is hard to imagine how u survive on so much less sleep but its nice to hear you say that you just do. Some nights I get so grumpy if Im still up at say 11pm so hopefully that will stop, lol, cant believe im still awake at 1am actually!!

Yeh Chicken Tikka Massala or just tikka is what I usually go for too but we all decided to be adventurous, lol!! Ooh DH has a madras sometimes, I do like them too :)

Finally got time to update on my day . Went to the NCT sale, defo try to get there early if you go to one, the queue was very long and they were operating a one in one out system but the members got in early and it was a bit annoying seeing them walk away with bin bags full of stuff! Actually didn't get much that was on my list as I was hoping to get some big things but it was best for clothes and toys. Most newborn and 0-3m clothes were £1 so after grabbing a load (and 2 toys) we spent £25. So then we had to do a trail around a few other shops to get the rest of the things I wanted as I'm stressing now about getting everything in time - OH was a sweetheart and didn't complain once. Got baby grooming kit in Mothercare, Calcium, EPO and lanolin in sainsburys, baby blanket in TKmax, maternity pads, disposable knicker and bed protector sheets in boots then a lovely nightie suitable for breast feeding and matching dressing gown in Matalan (both £6 - had looked everywhere for something suitable and nice so was very relieved when I found them). So I have all the basics now although may not have enough of everything but will wait and see what I need when Noogle is here.

Got back and was exhausted so slept for 2 hours then sorted out what needed washing - with all the bedding (already had) I have at least three loads! Just been looking at prams as I still don't have one, I think I'm hoping a fairy will just leave one on my doorstep for me!

Really sorry to hear about everyone's stresses with their OH's today. I'm lucky that mine frequently gets left alone for several days so knows roughly what needs doing and is very good therefore at helping out. His mum defo didn't molly coddle him either.

Hoping to get my labour bag started tomorrow but also need to do a total clean of my flat as it hasn't been done for 3 weeks

Hope we get to hear about some new babies soon!

    Hugs to all.

  • Arghh so annoyed ar being up at this time. stupid OH feel over his feet and slammed into the wardrobe straightened himself up then feel over the dog:mad: then he comes into bed and decides he wants my bit of warm blanket and pulls it off of me. He got a few choice words then he moved me so he could get his legs comfy so he got more curse words and now i am wide awake watching the news? oh well practice for when baby arrives i suppose.

Hope you got some much deserved sleep Glam, sometimes i think the little ones just like to be with mum for a little cry and snuggles. Now what can i do at this time without waking the house up!!!!

Im trying to save as much money as possible when it comes to buying for this baby :)
I didn't want a crib to start with, i was going to go straight into a cot. But my mum has insisted on one, so i dont want to spend £100+ on one :D

    OMG

One of my wonderful workmates gave me a bag full of clothes for baby and it includes this

    http://www.littlewhispers.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1037

Brand new, still on it's padded hanger and worth £28. Can't believe they didn't use it, it is gorgeous. Well, it's already in my hospital bag cos I love it and now I intend to make sure baby wears it loads. I'll send them a picture of her wearing it too.

God, I have been so lucky.

Hope you are all planning a lovely sunday.

  • OMG Harley that is gorgeous!

We're just off carbooting although we are probably way too late for the best bargains.

Party last night was a bit pants- I was so uncomfortable and there was no vegetarian food at the buffet so I was also starving!
