Im 18+1 now and i need to buy some maternity trousers, i have needed them for about a month, but i kept putting it off. Now i really need them
There's only so many long tops i can keep wearing
I saw your latest bump pic on fb today and you are thin!!!I worked in a nightclub when I was pregnant with DD and I had a sip out of my friends bottle of bud and a guy came up and hit me in the face!
Cos hitting a pg woman in the face is safer than her having a sip of beer?! Some people amaze me - and not in a good way.lilacbelle wrote: »Hi everyone,
I have been lurking for ages but thought I better introduce myself!
I am 14 weeks pregnant (yay!) with our 3rd child.
We have big age gaps though lol, so its like starting over every time!
Dont really have much interesting to say but look forward to getting to know you all a bit better

Congratulations!!!
Congreats to the other newbies too, and all the team blues!!!
I'm feeling umcomfortable tonight. Had a good evening though, made a yummy leek and potato soup and had my grandparents over for dinner. Just catching up now but you ladies have been chatty today!!!0 -
Ah good you're all in favour of the 2nd hand breast pump thing
Some people seem to think it's "gross"
I think "gross" can be reserved for the time when someone thinks it's a good idea to use 2nd hand knickers or something
A lot of people wouldn't dream of having anything but brand new everything for their babies. I am more than happy with second hand stuff - I prefer it TBH as it's a damn sight cheaper!!! If you're happ with it then it's fine! And I would have a 2nd hand pump if I found one.
Baby's been moving loads tonight - loving it!!
Off to sleep now though as I'm up at stupid o'clock tomorrow
Night night xx0 -

EA - Hoping to find out bubs flavour as long as he/she co operates. I agree with the others too, your not at all fat and have a cute lil bump. I was a bmi of 26/27 before PG and am about 30/31 now. I think my bump is a tad bigger but some of that is definatley fat hehe. Oh and my bump seems to be really high too, will have to see if I can get a pic.
Beanie - I'd have no issue with a second hand sterilised pump, as long as it works ok.
Always - There is a cafe at Westcroft but think its closed that time of night. I only know pubs localy am afraid tho.
Aless - will still be doing aquanatel in Nov if you do want to come along
Well bump feeling a lil tight tonight, think I may have over eaten hehe. As for stretch marks have been using bio oil on my (.Y.) and tummy but only once a day, so far nothing so thats good.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Ok, since I have now started buying for this baby (way too early but a bargain is a bargain, isn't it?) it's probably time to move over to here from the TTC thread. Am 8 weeks (today) and feeling very pregnant so fingers crossed its good and sticky! Am very fearful that my scan will show an empty sack (don't know why, I just am) so can't really explain why I have already bought a breast pump (£40 down from £80) and twenty cloth nappies (£60 down from £140). Think I have gone mad.
Anywho, that's it in a nutshell. Off to bed. Night ladies.Debt free as of July 2010 :j

Hi everyone,
Still trying to keep an eye on what's happening over here, but failing miserably! Hoping things will settle down next week when DH is back at work, but at the moment, I don't feel I can spend much time on here.
Registered Holly's birth today, and went with the middle name of Olivia, so thought I would update the list. It probably won't be long until we are knocked off. I can't believe it's October already! Nanc, Jenny, Fidget etc, it really won't be long for you guys!
Beenie - glad you are ok. I had noticed you were MIA over the weekend.
Squishy - really hope you have your little girl by now.
Csh - you haven't been on since this morning! Does this mean you are in labour or did you have other things to do with your day?
Nice bump pictures you have all been posting. I kind of miss my bump. Went to try and buy trousers/jeans today as I can only get 1 pair of pre-pregnancy jeans. However, the size up didn't fit, and there was no way I was going for another size up as it's only at the tummy so would have been too big elsewhere, so still only have 1 pair of trousers. Really need to start doing abdominal exercises as told by the physio!
Here is a picture of Holly looking totally relaxed/bored with daddy (just because I think it's cute!):0 -
Aww Fitzio, Holly is so lovely. Still can't image me with a real live baby! 8 days left at work

Jenny, should have known you would still be up!! ha ha. Hope your last few days at work fly in. I was dreading finishing up in case I was bored, but I am not missing work one bit. I was glad I finished when I did, and glad I am lucky enough to be able to take 9 months off. And it is weird having a baby! I filled out a survey the other day, and it asked how many children lived in the house. I had to think and then remembered I have a daughter!!! Scary.0
