Morning all, hope we're all ok. Numb bits and twingey bits brings all the fun flooding back lol!
Well we told the kids last night, bit of a shocked silence followed by lots of excitement from both of them. We got their baby boxes down from the loft so they could go through them and sat comparing their first scan pics with wombles. DD2s is identical, could be the same bub!!!
Since the girls then announced that they planned to tell everyone they saw I thought I'd better let some of the family know lol, my parents and sister are all excited too which is fab (and I bit of a relief!) and I'm going to call my nan today.
YAy for it going well Kelinik
Thanks gymfiend, I told my mam this morning she was shocked, my cousin is actually 40 now and I havent seen her since she was 18-20 so a very long time lol
Awwww for a boy lol
I am convinced we are having a girl
I am loving its friday, I might be off for 4 days YAY lolI am off on mon and tues BUT we might have overtime on Sunday, I am crossing my fingers we have I need the money.
We might have it all weekend but me and OH have an appointment at the bank tomorrow at 9.30am so I wont be able to come in? I could come in after the bank but I might not want to lol
There is a managers meeting at 11 today so I will find out after that?
I hope all goes well with the bank tomorrow, I cant see it myself lol but it would help us a lot lol so good bank vibes please everyone lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

been very poorly and not up to reading. I am still ill but a lot better then i have been...on the mend now
Just wanted to ask if anybody knows what having a really high body temp can do to baby??? I know they say dont have a hot bath as it can raise your body temp and be bad for baby. I know it can increase the risk of miscarrige but is there other things it could do aswell?????
The nurse kept saying you have to make surew your temp doesnt stay as high as it is etc as its bad for baby (was over 39.8/39.9 for a few days...) just wanted to check??
I was meant to have my scan this week but i had to cancel it so its booked for next tues so will be good to check up on baby....
thanks for any replys and ill try and catch up on all the news when feeling even better
I am so sorry you have been poorley. i know is that you need to take rolenza and paracetamol and try to keep your temp down as low as possible. know a few preggy ladies on here have had it and their babies have been ok and hope you feel better soon. I have read a bit about it but am not a doc so i would suggest if you are really worried to consult your midwife / doc. But have a nice big <<<<<GETWELL SOON>>> hug anyway:D

Morning! FINALLY it's Friday - phew. DH has a rare Saturday off so it's going to be a real treat this weekend, though it's prolly his last 'til Christmas/baby born. Lovely briskness in the air, though wishing I had worn at scarf as was a bit chilly walking into work (though is brill to be self-insulating pregnant woman, haha).
m2mg - sorry you're feeling poorly, get well soon!

Hello everyone,
still hereHowever, am rather excited as I think I've had the start of a show! Called the antenatal ward to check, so have been told to eat and drink regularly just in case labour starts - however, I do know that this can happen up to weeks beforehand so not holding my breath, but it's nice to know I'm heading in the right direction at least
Plan for today is to try and clean up the house a bit more in case I do end up going into hospital - was planning to finish everything up over the weekend  Wish me luck that I might actually go naturally after all!0 -
Morning all
Back to work again today, i'd rather not be here but at least its not ultra busy
Have finally caught up, but forgot who the person is that just joined lol.
But congrats!!
Me and OH started decorating the living room yesterday, we're doing it moonlight white and cloudless blue
Only done the white bits so far, have to finish the blue tomorrow
Yesterday i was knelt down on the floor, and all of a sudden had this massive cramp pain in my tummy, it took my breath away and hurt so much. I did try to call my midwife, but her phone was switched off (like always )
I was going to call the mat ward after i got there number but i felt fine all night. Should i be worried? Or am i being a first timer worrier? :rotfl:
Its mine and OH's year anniversery on tuesday, i know he wants the new batman game but its £40, so he's told me not to get it for him and to get him something cheaper.
So im going to get him a top or something and wrap the game in the top and then wrap the top, so when he feels to see what i've got him, all he will feel is the fabric from the top
I want to suprise him hehe.

Yay Squishy- sounds promising. Keep us updated!
Cardiff peeps- hope you have fun at the sling meet!
My boobie class last night was brilliant. Loads of really good information on positioning and the woman running it, who is the hospital's lactation expert, was really nice and like a big cuddly Mum! She did say they like BFing ladies to stay in for a couple of nights after the birth though which I'm not that keen on, but I might feel differently at the time.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
