  • wish i was a student so want to upgrade to windows 7 but being on a tight budget by the time i saved up the price will shoot up to the max price, just my luck lol

    Sure, my point is neither is Windows 7.

    Actually, Snow Leopard is more of a milestone, as it removes support for PowerPC (which is where I suspect the performance enhancements have come from!).
    yeah the RC version looks like that but I guess the windows 7 has improved in some more security stuffs.
    But nothing special, really...

    before i make a decision on what to do can someone please confirm is windows 7 an upgrade from vista?

    i'm thinking of changing to xp or windows 7 because someone posted this on another thread
