Good morning all. Had a good weekend - managed to get downstairs tidy on sat - it took most of the time unless i was sat melting on the sofa - i dont do hot hot veyr well. We had a bbq yesterday which was lovely - sent OH off to buy food as he had transport - he cam eback with a lot of food - this is why i never normally send him out - he used his money so i wasnt too worried as i now have rolls to last the next week, plus enough salad to feed us - only need a few bits food wise this week so hopefully costs will be kept down. Only problem with the bbq is that i have been bitten to pieces.
Today is 'P' day in our alphabet holiday. We are meeting my friend that i havent seen in ages because lack of car - were meeting at the park for a picnic and play (lots of p's). It is then holiday club at the local church. We are not particulary religious but cant see the harm in kids learning some good morals - plus they are looked after for 2 hours each day this week, fed and watered and its free. We go to their playgroup and after school club during school time so they know us well - have been going since 1st DD was 9 months old and nothing / no-one has really changed
I am hoping this week will be a very low spend week as kids are entertained at club this week - i just need to persuade the other mums that we do not need to go to the expensive cafe each day to wait for them - think that park and homemade nibbles will be a lot cheaper. Many of them are broke too so hopefully they will agree - perhaps i will suggest the last day we have a treat rather than everyday. Looks like i better make a carrot cake tonight - off to look at ingrediants so i can get what i need.
Apparently the 'new' car will be taxed at the end of this month - still not sure i really want it but i guess i will then beable to get to places if needed. It doesnt mean i have to use it everyday.
I looked at my spreadsheet and if i keep to budget and OH gives me the correct amount of money each week and allowing for tax credits etc staying the same, if i stay within budget by xmas 2013 i will have just over 10k in the bank. I wish i could achieve this as then i could pay off all debts. Perhaps i should set myself a target to be debt free by sept 2015 which will be when youngest goes to school. The spreadsheet says its do able but only if i get income from OH and nothing major like cars / boiler go wrong etc - i guess any date other than the one that the DMP people say is great - think we will pay everything off in around 20 years - very depressing. I realise its way off but i am determind that once we pay off debts any spare money will go towards mortgage each month so we can also be mortgage freeMe, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190

Well good morning all. We had a lovely day yesterday at park catching up with friends and also 1st day at holiday club. Ended up in said cafe, but am currently making cookies from my AF delivery the other day. Must not forget them whilst on here lol. They are currently looking more like rock buns than cookies but they do smell good. Still need milk and bread today but that should be all as did small top up shop yesterday - i couldnt fit anything else in buggy so had to leave milk.
Been waiting for a few DD's to come out of bank this week and although its lovely they havent taken money out i am a little worried as to why. I guess money is still there - will take out my grocery money for the next 10 days - only have £34 left for that in budget for this month, but then its only bread, kids crisps, milk and fruit that we should need as freezer is full and i have enough bits to make cakes etc for yummy treats Me, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190 Me, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190

Well they are most definately yummy - thought i better try one incase i made anyone poorly - think they will go down well. I am kind of known for baking yummy treats for us all - i cant cook savory meals at all but get me to make a nice cake and i am there.
I am only taking my cash purse i have decided so that means i will have the grand sum of £14.01 (just counted up). Since last post i have decided that i dont want to take extra food money out until i really have to as i may be persuaded to go to cafe or something which i really cant afford. If i dont have the money then we wont.
Forgot to mention that Avon have yet again messed me around so after half hour of trying to get them to correct my account and some very rude people i have resigned and will not be working for them anymore. It made me so angry - they were almost accusing me of stealing the goods off them and me lying. Well sorry i am not putting up with that so i am no longer employed with them - made hardly any money anyway so it wont make much difference to income.
Ok time to get kids lunch and ready to go - were taking next door who is only just eating breakfast - her mum works nights so most of the hols she is left to look after herself - thought i would offer to take her so she an have some fun - she is only just 8Me, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190

Morning - i am exhausted - not sure why as it wasnt a very late night. I had to get up early to put bin out as they often come around 6 and now i need sleep!
We are tidying the house today before holiday club as it is in such a state its getting very embarasing again when people turn up. Should be a low spend day provviding we can avoid that damn cafe! Dont think i need anything at the mo so will try to leave cards here. Just had a thought for dinner and fancy HM pizza so will need a little cheese for top but got everything else. Still not great with the whole meal planning as you can see. I think i will have fallen asleep by lunch time at this rate though - where is my diet coke think i need caffine lolMe, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190

Good evening - well its been an extremely busy week here. Lots of holiday club and staying in town until it finishes. Have spent my last 51p today on a pack of baby wipes. I know its all gone but i think i have done pretty well as we have been to expensive cafe each day. Had a picnic one day at the park which was nice but avoided the fish and chip shop like the others. Anyway as its bank hol OH got paid early and a little more than planned so hopefully should top up bank account nicely. All being well everything will be ready for payment by the 1st with a little extra for the savings pot.
My sisters OH want itune voucher for birthday so i have printed out the £3 off voucher and will have to get to the coop before that runs out - a little saving but better than nothing
Another fish has died in our tank and it looks like it was bitten. W ehave 3 shark fish and apparently they can get a bit vicious but up to now thay have been ok - as we havent seen whats going on we cant be sure but our fishes are slowly going. Right must go as OH is apparently on his way home so better get his dinner sorted like a good little wifey!Me, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190
