SAHM needs to pay off debts

right i am back and ready to reduce spending again. mums visit has caused havoc on the money situation and now she is on her way home i have got to get it under control. She has however given me £100 to spend on MYSELF. Not the kids or bills. Havent had that sort of money for a very long time and am kind of stuck on what i would use it on. Only thing i have come up with is haircut and maybe a preg dress for the weddings coming up end of summer. Is it wrong i am not putting it towards bills etc as that would make me feel good to.
Yesterday i rang and renewed my tax credits so will wait to see what have to say in the next few weeks! Hopefully we werent overpaid last year and therefore things shouldnt change too much - i think if anything we earnt less than l expected.
Sorry but need a list for today
Washing - several loads, washed, dried outside - lovely - and then put away!
List whats in the freezer and cupboards
Meal plan for the week
Put camp bed away and sort out DD's room
Go through bank statements and alter figures on budget
many other things need doing but that will keep me going for a little while:)
Hope everyone has a lovely sunny dayMe, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190 -
Mum gave you the £100 for yourself. Spend it on yourself. It will make you feel good and give you the strength to keep going.'You can't change the past, you can only change the future' Gary Boulet.

thanks, she said i deserved a treat and wsa quite sure it should go on me, so will try to keep it for the dress that i will need for wedding.
Well all of the washing is on the line drying in the lovely sunshine. We have taken kids to park this morning for a quick play and i am on track with DD's bedroom. Also managed to stip our bed and put in the washing machine, so everything going well so far.
OH now on sofa asleep as he took mum to airport at 2 this morning. He is out racing this afternoon until around midnight so wont need dinner. That means me and kids can get away with pasta tonight rather than meat and 2 veg that OH would want.
Right off to make my bed and then finish DD's roomMe, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190 -

right the only thing i havent managed to do today is list what food is in the freezer. i did have a quick look so that i could plan the next few days meals though.
Need to get organised with the cleaning now my energy is a little higher - know it wont last forever so need to get the last few bits of clutter gone before i get too big. Also need to find some sort of box to put baby things in. I have started buying a few bits and pieces each week / month to spread the cost if things are on special offer but they are in my wardrobe and i need the space so it needs to be put somewhere else ready.
Oh well hope the weather stays nice for a few more days as i am enjoying the lovely open windows and washing on the line xMe, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190 -
Me again. After such a sucessful day yesterday i am going to try to get a few more cleaning bits done. I have already put 1st load of washing on line and 2nd is in the washing machine. Also checked fire alarms and taken electric and gas meter readings. Think i must have made an error on one of the previous readings as my year to date cost of elec and gas is £3585! I do hope i have made an error. Anyway today i will be turning all unessesary switches off as mum and OH havent been and i keep finding new ones.
List for today
clean DD and DS rooms
Put away any washing not done yesterday
Dishwasher unloaded and loaded
Bathroom - quick wipe over as thoroughly cleaned sat
look at the daily clicks i should be doing
see if i can find 5 things for ebay to list
Lets hope for a slightly cooler day but still sunny x Oh and i definately felt baby kick again this morning which means yesterday it was not in my imaginationMe, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190 -

Well i feel i need to get back into the money saving and debt paying off. I was thinking earlier about moving house again and figured that unless the debts are paid off there is no real way that we could afford to do this. I want to move so that we are in the catchment area for the school i like so that i dont have to go through the panic each time we apply. My next little one will start school in sept 2012 so i have just over 2 years to sort things out.
My little spreadsheet that i have shows that most of the debt will be sorted by May 2014 so i have quite a way to go reducing things and thats providing nothing else is put on the credit card! I have locked them up but if an big emergency happens i may be tempted.
i am going to look at finding things we no longer need and start by selling those in ebay / car boot. Still waiting to hear from tax credits to see how much we will be paid monthly before i can work out real plan.Me, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190 -
had another thought when it came to uping (is that a word?) income to pay debts off faster. I must restart doing the competitions that i used to do. Only ever remember winning a baby book but i guess if i dont enter i wont win. Will try money prizes and any baby items that would save me buying them as needed. Sorry if i am boring people but if i write things down hopefully i can refer back to them as my pregnancy mind is just so forgetful at the moment. right i am off to do half hour of comping before little ones finish their dinnersMe, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190

Well were having a no spend day today as it too misserable to venture outside and dd wanted a pjyama day. I didnt put up a fuss and both dd and ds are watching dvds on the sofa with blankets so i get some time on here to look around.
Also OH is out tonite at racing so that will leave me with some time alone perhaps to sort some of the sewing tasks i have been putting off for the last month. Some of them are not needed till xmas but if i have the machine out for other projects i may as well do them all.
right time for lunch - might have soup as its that kind of day hereMe, DD1 20, DS 18, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190
