  • That is assuming that the OP won't just try to wriggle out of paying his sub prime cards as well.
  • I have no debt but Im sure ANYONE who could find a loophole in any situation would use it if it was to their benefit if they dont arent they the idiots??

I sort of thought that banks dealt with, um, money? It's like a sort of specialism they have. So when they trade in money they need to have some sort of contract. Maybe a specialist contract that money traders would specialise in? As specialists?

Therefore, if the banks mess up and it means that some customers get charged more so the banks can keep their income high, these customers should target their ire at those who cost them money. That would be the ones who made the mistakes. The specialists, or bankers, perhaps?

    Just a thought...

Thank you Micheal - someone else speaking some sense. We will have the last laugh because Jamesy can never (unless he metamorphosises into a decent human being) experience a sense of pride. Pride at living within his means. The sort of pride you experience when you save the deposit for your first home and think, wow, this is mine and I worked for it. Nothing beats it. Pride at paying off your debts and thinking, great, I can start again and get it right this time. Someone said you were 26 Jamesy. I was 26 once and 6 years after that I was married and had my first child. You may wish to think a bit longer term because a lot can happen in 6 years. Would be a right bummer (and I mean this sincerely) if you had a wife and child and needed a place to live. Not much fun relying on the council.

NID - I am newish but you come across as pretty arrogant to me and think you know everything. Why ridicule people for not knowing Latin? I don't know any. SO what does that mean? It means I went to a school that didn't teach it and have had no desire to learn it since. It says a lot about you that you actively encourage people to behave in such a way. Do you have children? Would you tell them to run up 10k debts and not pay it off?

You've been here longer than me! :rotfl: I am not arrogant, I know the way it works and cannot sit back and let pre-judgemental people talk rubbish - sorry, its not the way I am.

I don't care - not arrogant, fact - if someone thinks it is wrong or otherwise, the law is clear and that is what I work to. If I am so arrogant, I retract my help on the other thread.... you can't win

Proliant put the Latin up - not me? Michael agreed with the 'latin' comment and I directed my question back at him - not everyone! Proof here: #74 - My post!

As long as I quote the law and not morals I will always be the one in the right, that is the part you guys don't seem to grasp! :p

    sapientia superat moras, semper paratus.

I know a little latin, use it to spice up the debate. ;)
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
