"Thankyou Asda finally it seems like the situation has been resolved.
Or has it " ?
My last visit to Asda I noticed the same person I had the problem with waiting around by the trolly bay & as I aproached she smiled "how are you" very strange behaviour I thought anyway all was made clear once we returned to our car - some sad person had keyed the paint work, of course I wouldn't say it was this person without having proof but we shopped their for 3 years without any problem & I just wonder what sicko might have a motive ?
Seriously, I hope you deal with this quickly, there might be a time limit on how long they keep cctv footage. Think of the positive aspect, if video can be found of this person doing that, they won't be bothering you again!0 -
Thanks but I did this the following day & Im told the cameras sweep the car park however they say there is no footage that can confirm or deny what I suspect, they agreed to interview her & ask if she "noticed anything" however I feel she knows how the cameras operate & will lie through her teeth.
I am positive that it's only a question of time before she does something similar to someone & it will all catch up with her.Theres only two rules to remember1) Im always right2) See rule 10 -
Have a friend in the car park in advance of you arriving so that they cn discreetly watch your car while you are inside.Obviously pick a day when she is on duty, and when you go in, make sure she sees you.0

Yes that is an idea I have complained direct to their CEO I know I cannot prove anything but it is certainly very probable - I am waiting for a response from them before I even think of shopping their again.Theres only two rules to remember1) Im always right2) See rule 10

I also believe that and I think your situation is terrible.
What I would also think is that this member of staff must have a very sad life. I mean, to remember a customer (especially working in a place like ASDA where you must see thousands of people a day) and then torment them, is pathetic, sad little piece of scum, she really can't have much going for her/much going on in her life.Originally Posted by Dr Cuckoo3

Here's the reply I received from Asda HQ this morning
I've been speaking with Jayne Adams the People Manager at our Tunstall store. Jayne has explained that your discussions with her have been documented and we'll continue to monitor the service provided by Karen. She has also spoken with the colleague to make sure she's always providing the best possible service.
Jayne has also investigated the incident with your car. We've concluded that there's no evidence to support that Karen may have done this and therefore we're unable to take any action. However, we more than happy to work with the Police or your insurers if you wish to log this with them.
I'm once again sorry for the upset this has caused you and I really do hope you'll continue to shop with us
My opinion is it's only a question of time before this individual gets up to their tricks again & I believe will one day be caught out - until then I have now named & who knows - maybe even shamed them.

I went to Asda this weekend. I'm normally a Sainsbury's girl, but thought I'd give this money saving stuff a go...
Firstly, I was starving, so thought I'd get something to eat in the cafe before doing my weekly shop. The lady at the counter served the woman infront of me, then looked at me and disappeared. No mention of "I'll be back in a minute" or anything. She then re-appeared after a couple of minutes, then vanished again. I left my tray on the counter and walked to Pizza Hut (£6.99 for 2 courses - so same price...). Manners never killed anyone!
I then did my shopping, and decided the meat looked minging, so would buy that at my local butchers. The total came to only £7 less than usual, and given I hadn't even bought meat, then in reality it would have been MORE expensive than Sainsburys. The woman on the till was grumpy and looked bored.
Examening my receipt, they overcharged on 2 items that were supposed to be half price. (I would have complained, but the queue at customer services was HUGE, so I took the £2 hit...).
After reading this thread, my advice is to shop elsewhere, because Asda are NOT cheaper, and at least in Sainsburys (my local one at least) the staff have manners!
I will not be setting foot in Asda again.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Halifax store has one many have nicknamed " Chewbacca" from Star Wars, he looks and sounds just like him . I just turn tail and shop elseware now when I spot him and I am not the only one.
He must cost them a fortune in lost sales.

Any chance of a photo of this Chewbacca look alike???"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
Ive shopped here for a few years & was impressed with the freindly check out staff but today I had the misfortune to stand with my weeks shopping in the way of a woman collecting baskets she barked something like move or Im coming through, I am a little deaf but next thing "Ill go round you then shall I - if you wont move out of the way" what ....I looked in front of me no baskets there she continued to moan & I said you do get paid dont you which made her more angry & she muttered something saying Ill get security, a young woman turned up before I had paid for the shopping saying a complaint had been made that I swore & I would be barred from the store, even though I explained what really happened my partner was present & confirmed what I said it seemed to count for nothing - what ever happened to the customer always being right ? Just to finish of as I left the store the same assistant was standing by the exit laughing
did you give her a bat in the mouth for her impertinence..?0
