i am so stuck with rings. h2b seems to think there is plenty of time to sort it out but i know that as soon as work is available, he will end up working every hour god sends and that will mean no time to do wedding planning/prep. most we look at are 2-4 weeks but some are up to six and we only have less than ten. argh!!!!

We haven't sorted rings either, we seem to be putting a lot off until my partner is off at the start of August, i have no idea how we will do everything that need doing without borrowing a tardis! :rotfl:

We were very lucky with rings! Mine is a current season - it was the last one in the shop and the right size!!!! Me thinks it was meant to be!

Going shopping for dresses on Saturday with Oh's sister! I want red and low cost so it is going to be a bridesmaids dress - with alterations/ adaptions! Hopefully not going to have a problem with it! Have seen a really nice one on the net and it is gorgeous! I want to see what shapes fit first though!

Seen some gorgeous one which take 5 to 12 weeks to arrive - have 14 weeks on Saturday!
  • I picked our rings up last week only to get OHs ring home and find a nick in it. As its Palladium, i wonder how it was scratched.

I could see it, OH could see it and bridesmaid could see it. Lady in the jewellers with a magnifying glass said she couldn't see it and she was a supervisor. Took it back in two days later and spoke to someone normal who spotted it immediately and ordered me a replacement.

Hope you get your rings sorted soon. I've just posted my first invites. OH needs to sort his suit though which he intends to leave until our week off in August! That's 6 weeks to go!:o

I've just bought another pair of shoes. :o
We finished the day invites last night, just need to address the envelopes and get them in the post, we are having a fairly small do and everyone who is invited already knows about it though.

Need to finish the evening invites
    sort flowers
    get rings
sort honeymoon (anyone know of any cheap but nice hotels in London?)
Sort table decs (i have some bits on their way)

    I'm tired of making decisions...

well, i just found out that i can order the rings with just a deposit put down for now. that has put a smile on my face and i will be ordering next week once i have been paid. :)

h2b is threatening to chop his hair off. (he is growing it for the wedding and its nearly as long as i usually have it. i have also been growing mne for the wedding but since finding out that i can't wear it down, i am tempted to have a good ole trim when i go hairdressers on friday. :) i haven't been to a salon in almost a year!

There seems to be someone smiling at me! Everything is falling into place. Even the monster-in-law is being kind to me!!! Am currently trying to decide if I should wait until Saturday when I go dress shopping or just order the one I like off the internet! Wanted to try some on first but have found a nice one on the net and really don't think I am going to change my mind now!

Try some on, it's amazing how different you can feel in an dress. Saying that i had an idea of what i wanted my dress to be like, and despite being told i was unlikely to get it, i did. :j Also unless you have tried the style on, you can't be sure it'll suit you.

That's what I keep convincing myself! I dont want anything too much but it must have straps - I am broad shouldered - and it needs to be red! I have an aversion to white! Plus I am terrible for spilling! Every 'do' I have ever been to I have come away covered in red wine - not good on a white dress!
