lol, rsvps driving me up the wall for the same reason - and how hard is it really - everyone has a mobile, takes two seconds to send a txt! i also have evening guests who got back to me within days and are coming from far away - id like to bump them up to the day if someone else isnt coming! ggggrrr.

im doing well with all my sorting, was starting to relax, then did a list of all still left to do and theres tons!!! and 11 weeks doesnt seem long enough as every weekend seems to be full!!

I have had 2 rsvp's in the post and loads by text, the annoying thing is its from people i already knew were defo coming! I have only just sent out my invites though so should probably give them a week or 2.

I have not sent out evening invites yet but we are not asking evening guests to rsvp as it doesnt really matter how many of them turn up.

I created a private Facebook group for the evening, that way I save on invites

The annoiying thing is the one RSVP I have had back is from a friend in Cyprus of all places

oh boy. thought it was cos i smelled or summat why i didn't get responses. lol

i sent our rsvp cards with a stamped addresssed envelope AND email addy. either way, not hard to give a response but still, i guess i still have a month beofre i can get mad cos i put 27th aug as deadline. (stoopid me. ) seems a bad time to get wed as all my teacher friends are still broke after summer hols. **sigh**

we created an evening facebook page months ago and have lots of accepted in there but i still wanted to send out official invites. My invites have only cost me about £30 for them all

I have made my postbox: still to add a little poem or something not found anything yet! Any suggestions?

My invites went out yesterday and the ones in the post today! My OH put the deadline on them - 24th August! Need to pay the venue 50% of the estimated costs by 8weeks before - so we treating ourselves to an end of summer hols meal so want to be able to do it then!

We bought our rings on Saturday - sold a load of old jewellery that was broken to a local jeweller and made £124! Was well impressed! Added that to the ammount we wanted to spend on rings and got some very nice ones!

i am so stuck with rings. h2b seems to think there is plenty of time to sort it out but i know that as soon as work is available, he will end up working every hour god sends and that will mean no time to do wedding planning/prep. most we look at are 2-4 weeks but some are up to six and we only have less than ten. argh!!!!
