aha getting v excited now! am getting lots of rsvp's back which is good - but they're from all the people I know are coming - it's the handful that could be either way and about 4 who I am betting money on that wont come - but I want them to accept or decline, so I know if I can bump anyone up. There's a handful of invites I've not yet sent because of this.

We are working on the basis of 100 for the day but have invited 110 convinced that 10 people wont be able to make it - sods law that this wont be the case. I'm pretty sure 4 wont be, so that could only be 6 people i need to worry about - hee hee!!

As for the walking down the aisle question - i'm glad you asked that. I don't know what to do. i have two little flower girls - 4 and 11 - and then 3 adult bridesmaids.

Part of me wants to walk first as I am the bride and it's my day - but how selfish does that sound?! I'm just not sure that the 4 yr old will walk down the aisle without her mum, who i would def want behind me. Am thinking it might have to be me, then my flower girls, then my bridesmaids. I guess we can work it out at the rehearsal.

If I know they'd be ok, then i'll prob go with the two smaller ones, then me, then the 3 bridesmaids!

i got a load of invites out today:) still to make the rest, also got the evening ones to be written to send but the MIL2B who is writing them for me is at T in the Park this weekend!

Started to make my post box tonight, its just one of those photocopier paper boxes with fancy wrapping paper and a post slot, i need to get a poem or something on it!

my business cards with the photobucket account details arrived today along with my bridesmaids flowers .
I cant believe how quickly its coming in

Not happy this morning ~ woke up at 6 and heard a strange noise coming from the shower, so I thought it had broken.

Came down to get a drink ~ no water.

Went upstairs ~ no water.

Looked outside ~ burst water pipe at side of road! :eek:

I've got OH and son coming home later from camping, they're gonna be all smelly and mucky and we're going on holiday tomorrow night and I've still got clothes to wash! :eek:
Me & daughter are TOTM and the toilet won't flush :eek:

Just been the shop and got 4 bottles of water and some pop so least we can all have a drink, wash and brush our teeth.

What a piggin nightmare ~ I've phoned the water company and they're meant to be getting someone out soon to look at it.

I'm sat with my pen hovering above the envelopes to write for the invites! Can't seem to put pen to paper. Need a kick up the bum as these need to go out soon!

shell.. i had same recenty only it waselectrics that stopped the water pump. happened three times in as many weeks. pain!
i only have about ten more invites to get out before adding odd people to list when others have declined.

begining to think this will be a very quiet wedding after all the stress of feeding all the people.. got 15 responses left which could be 40 people saying no! ah well..

i've prob already said this hundres times but i finally got my shoes (monsoon.. oscar evening shoes in gold) and i also got my tiara (olivier laudus henrietta - got discount cos original one i wanted was discontinued. lol) i am so in love with both.. its fab.

seen the rings we want but still costing them up. **sigh** should be close to ready in a few weeks.. can't believe how little time there is. debating on passport changes. mine doesn't run out til aug 2011 but h2bs runs out jan 2011 and we may want to go away in late oct/early nov so gonna have a think about it although got loads of more important things to spend money on.

is everyone changing their names?

Water got put back on this afternoon thank God! It was a mains burst outside.

Just got a few bits to iron tomorrow for hol and got to help eldest son pack his bag then we're done!

Not looking forward to dragging the baby out of his cot at 2am though, eeek!!



I'm having OH's name as my surname, but I'm going to have my surname as my middle name as I haven't got one, but I'll have to do that by deed poll.

Was thinking about double barrel, but it will be too much of a mouthful I think lol

Waiting for my dress to come ~ if it doesn't come tomorrow, Mum is going to get the card in the week and pick it up for me, so I'll have a lovely suprise to come home to!

Then I need to get the dressmaker to shorten it and fix a hook at the back as the dress has a bit of a train but I would rather have it bustled up all day.

I am changing mine and my daughters name, she is practising already as its a tricky one:p

got the rest of day invites finished tonight just need to get some addresses to post them. need to get the evening list to MIL2b to write then that be another load to decorate & send!
