aww thats lovely. would love double barrel but not worth it cos it doesn't sound right and kids want me to have same name as them. its a big part of why i agreed to marry. lol
i need to get my ar*e in gear and book menu and rooms etc. was waiting on rsvps but people are being so crap at responding that i am tempted to sod them anyway! I did give rsvp date of 27th aug though so its my own fault. should have done it a month before but as i was printing wa in advance, it seemed a sensible date at the time. lolProud to be Member of BSC #92Hoping to get debt free again :wall::heart2: working hard to make my daughters proud :heart2:0 -

Getting excitied. Booked our notice of marriage meeting. They wont give us the book with all the details in of what we need to give them with words, readins and songs. Anybody have any idea of what the marriage book from a registar contains?0

sorry - we are going for a church wedding!
I was a bit gutted with teh quotes we got. h2b is adamant we should both have 18k gold. obv this is preferable as its more gold than 9k but with his work, 18k isn't really gonna last. we both want gold and as my e-ring is 18k, we agreed i shuld have same for wedding. now, i have seen a lovely ring in goldsmiths but it is yellow gold and my e-ring is white. i am not planning on having my e-ring plated again so don't mind as it is already starting to look yellow but the ring h2b liked was a two tone (which in effect is same as how mine would look give the different golds.) we are geting tehm engraved so that is fine but he really liked the suare shaped rings like we saw in f.hinds. the quality didn't APPEAR as nice in F Hinds as that of the one we saw in goldsmiths but then, gold is gold right? Or is it? i think the one in F hinds seemed a bit 'thinner' if that makes sense. but its over £50 more expensive for a ring that doesn't look as good quality. if we had time and money, we would get them made but h2bonly went back to work this week after five months of not working on account of his back. (due to him being self employed, we don't get extra help when he is off workd so we lost a rather large income) these rings are for life and whatever happens, we will not 'replace' them.. we may add to them but these are the ones we are commiting with and therefore will be with us til teh end of time and it seems wrong to skinp on them but i am a bit stuck. unless we have a major windfall (not likely!) we may be giving in to goldsmiths which would be fine but looking on their site, my size is too small (I am K and tehy start mine at L) and h2b is to big (he is W and tehy go up to V) now i have no problem paing extra for resizing if this was necesary but i am worried i may not be able to resize the rings we are getting. :eek:Proud to be Member of BSC #92Hoping to get debt free again :wall::heart2: working hard to make my daughters proud :heart2:0 -

I've been wondering the same thing! I've marked in my diary that we can give notice from 23 July but no bl00dy idea what that means we need to do...if anything!Must go research... Plus, getting married in Scotland so dunno if that makes a difference...
