Just wanted to say that it is 99 days til my wedding day and I've only got 13 weeks of work left before I break up for my wedding prep!!

Not that I'm counting or anything :rotfl:

We have to get the men measured for their suits, and I have a feeling that's going to prove more difficult than it sounds!!! They are men after all!

I've also got to swap my bridesmaid dress - she's lost weight so need to get the size smaller. Am hoping they still have them in debenhams. It still has the label on, so am sure they will let me swap it over!

Am eagerly awaiting the phone call to say my dress has arrived too!

    It's all just soooo exciting!

well i got my hair trial booked today which is 20th August, only 6 weeks before!!!!. Could have had it sooner but i wanted a friday night:D

got the dog booked into kennels for the weekend just need to sort his jabs out!

took all my wedding stuff to my mums today so i now have a bedroom again and room to move.

ordered bm's flowers as got my foam flower bride toss bouquet this week and it was gorgeous and matched my colours perfect, so i am now getting 3 bouquets made fake and its costing less than 1 fresh bm bouquet!

feel i am getting somewhere now :)

 eek! 9 weeks and the venue has to be paid for that's at least £1200 depending on how many we decide on for the breakfast and reception.

    Oh Chel!! :(

Tell him, 2 heads are better than one at thinking of ways to raise the money.

Do you have anything you can sell?

I've just sold a heap on eBay and made £600 in just over a week which will be paying off the rest of the venue balance.

I could sell my body but wouldn't get much for it :rotfl:

WE can do it (I think) it may mean putting off bill in September till October after the wedding but as soon as it's over it will be easy to catch back up.

Plus we will be richer in September because our youngest goes to full time school (she's not a baby any more :( ) so that's nearly £800.

I'm no good with ebay, I can only spend on there :D.

we have pretty much paid for everything and i am in a dilemma!

We have a welcome drink for our guests and thats it, i was waiting to see how much money we had before comitting to more.

    Now the dilemma!

We were going to put 2 bottles of wine on each table which would be about £300. I now have more family from down south who have said they are coming but they are only down for the evening guest list.

dont know if i should use the wine money to bump all those from the evening who are travelling a distance to the day!

What do you all think? I dont think many of my family would be fussed about not getting the wine they are all more spirit drinkers!

ooh, i totally understand, we are having a similar dilema, as weve just found out a couple of my relatives are coming down for the evening from far away so wandering if could bump them to day guests, but we were also debating about putting some drinks on table (though we may go for non-alcholic) but i really begrudgw paying the extausionate prices they charge for drinks in hotels so am thinking that if people are making the effort to come a long way just for the evening then it would be really nice to extend it to a day invite.

my thing is ive got to contact the day venue to see if i can fit a couple more in, and dont want to offer too early incase lots of other family hear and decide to come down, cos then where do you draw the line?

the hardest and most stressful thing has been guest lists - wouldnt you all agree?
if money was no object then i would have invited everyone to the day - as that would still be less than a typical large wedding, but its not, and money only stretches so far.
