I've could have sworn I'd read on here that you don't have to give notice to the reg office if you're getting married in a church?
That's gonna bug me now, I'll have to look for it lol!
I know I'm sat here panicking, we saw the Rev. last night and she mentioned nothing.

Umm - well we have been told by our vicar that we DON'T need a license....and i am thinking she must be right!!!! She said that the church sort it all out. End of! Ring and ask tho if ur worried!!Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0

i just realised pollyhelen is a church wedding ( speed reading is not good!!) I am not a church wedding so i dont know really!!would love to win an ipad!

Hi guys, sorry popped out there for a minute!! Ours is a church wedding but not normal church of England. I think I found out today that c of e is the only one u don't have to register it at the register office. Tbh I've been having full on panic since that post and then we spoke to the guy at the church and was v calm but said we'd better hot foot it down there !!! Arg! So hopef all ok but will feel better once we've been. Think that clears up some questions a bit too but also obv could be wrong cos clearly I am an amateur on hhis!!!! Thanks for helpfulness!!Debt free March 2010

if you need to involve the registry office it will be for the license which is at latest 14 days before you need to apply.
We only need a license and can apply 12 weeks before for this.x
eta: the timescales may be different for england but i dont see it being much different!would love to win an ipad!
