Haven't you given notice yet? Yikes, you better get your skates on incase your date and time have gone!

That is THE most important thing, without a ceremony, there won't be a wedding x

Oh you didn't mention getting married at church ~ you confused me by saying you have to register the wedding so I thought you meant register it, ie, give notice.

    What did you mean?

you need to give notice to the registry office in order to get banns read. you cant do this until 3 months before when the wedding is not being performed by the registrar.
I can give notice in 2 weeks (i think) so it will be the same for pollyhelen:D

a few days before the wedding either the bride or groom must collect the schedule from the registry office .

thanks for the nice comments, i made the models myself, bit annoyed about my smile as it went a bit wrong, but never mind. i have a friend who has done floristry, she made my bouqet, whilst at the same time talking me through how to do it so that i could make my sisters at the same time. The pomanders i bought, they had clear beads all over them, but i wanted them to be more sparkly so added crystals which i wired on with floristry wire, same with the flowers and the butterflies, then added the ribbons, really happy with all the stuff.

really excited today, as i bought a dress off of ebay for the day after, and to wear when on honeymoon in australia when we go to the opera house for an evening. wanted an ivory dress (so i can still pretend to be a bride for a bit longer!) it arrived today and is gorgeous, maybe a little ott for the day after as it is actually and ebony and ivory knee length wedding dress, but its gorgeous and im going to wear it even if i look stupid!

I've could have sworn I'd read on here that you don't have to give notice to the reg office if you're getting married in a church?

That's gonna bug me now, I'll have to look for it lol!

    This is what I've read...
If you are getting married in the Church of England or Church in Wales, then you do not usually have to give notice of marriage.

so i suppose it depends on whether it's a C of E church or a Catholic church?
