Oooo, its 17 weeks for me tomorrow as I'm the 10th. My God.

Tried my dress on today for the first time since I got it in November. Fits lovely I must say, but then again i have been on a huge health kick since Christmas. I'm worried I'm going to tread on the hem though. :o

Invites paid for. Also, rather suprisingly, I've ordered a tiara. Never thought I'd want a tiara until a friend made me try one on and it looked really nice. Not the idiot I automatically thought I'd look.

Shame about the ribbon Chel. However, I've got the utmost respect for anyone who has the ability to be creative. I can barely draw a stick man, let alone make something nice enough for my wedding! :rotfl:

Shell, by the time you come back from hols it'll fly by. Sorry to keep reminding you. :D Are you going anywhere that you need to worry about you tan lines?

i have been thinking about tan lines, glad i am not only one!!

My daughter is the flower girl and she is so brown from her school shirt sleeve down and then white as a sheet! i need to try get her to tan over summer on tops of her arms as her dress is sleeveless. so the summer vest tops are out! she has a great tan and i out factor 30 or 50 on her depending how hot it is, she doesnt sit in ith either!

I don't need to worry about tan lines because I don't tan.

When I go in the sun, I go white. (I'm normally blue lol :D)

Argh, have started sending out my invites!!! Yay. Am staggering them, sent most of the day invites - the only ones I've not sent are the ones on my OH side that i don't know address details etc etc. Am waiting for some replies before i know if i can 'upgrade' some of the evening people.

i only sent them out a week ago and have already received about 10/12 replies!!! And they're all yes!!! V excited. Everyone seems to like the invites too.

We set up a gift list and have had one item bought from it already!!!! Mind you, I'm marrying a chinese man and in their culture they use the chinese lucky money envelopes - so have given people a choice.

My favours and table gems have also been despatched, should be here any day.

A mtg with our wedding manager at the venue is at the beginning of July - cannot wait. Just got to pay for most of it then - eeek!

We've also been having wedding prep classes at the church, we've chosen our readings, hymns, prayers and the incoming and procession music. Both times I've had tears in my eyes - what will i be like on the day? this week, we're going to meet the vicar marrying us - v exciting!!!

I must admit hunnycat, i'm starting to count down now too!!!!

I even emailed the wedding dress shop to check how my dress was getting on and if they knew of any problems, but they called the designer and said that all was on track to be released at the end of june, so i can start my fittings in july.

just out of interest, does anyone know how many fittings you tend to have???

    :j so excited now :j

The really nice weekend the other week, I thought "ooo, I'll wear strapless". However, I now have a "shelf" line all the way round my back, so keep that in mind as well. Might have to have a spray tan to even it all out!! :rotfl:

I bought my dress, it's pretty much the dress i'd imagined but was told i'd not be able to get. Was on sale and need no alterations except the shoulder strap which kept slipping down. Talk about fate!
